Chapter 17

Virgil's POV-

Ugh, I was stuck here until Princey came along and saved me. When my mind went to him, I sighed. With all of everything going on, I'd almost forgot we were dating! My mind went back to what happened. 

"Now I'm not afraid to do this." I smirked, and wrapped my arms around him, nuzzling into his shoulder. After a few minutes of silence, I said "I really like you Princey."

Reluctantly, he answered. "I like you too, Virgil."

Suddenly, I tightened my arms around him, and kissed him. Almost immediately, he kissed back harder. He wrapped his arms around me too, somehow deepening the kiss more.

Eventually, we released, out of breath. Panting he said, "Virgil, will you be my boyfriend?"

"Yes!" I laughed.

I needed to find a way out. So we could go on a proper date. This whole plan is stupid. There must be another way to make Thomas anxious again. 

Crap.

Thomas.

WHAT ABOUT THOMAS?! Sure, he  could do fine without me, but without Princey, Morality, and Logic? Who knows what kind of trouble he could get into now? HE'S PRACTICALLY BRAIN DEAD.

But why am I anxious now? 

Why am I worrying again? 

What the heck is going on?

Then, I decided to text the others. 

-virgil has added singalot, logic, and dad to the group chat-

virgil: hey guys

singalot: VIRGIL!

virgil: yep, that's my name

logic: Anxiety! Tell us your exact location!

virgil: idk where i am i woke up in a basement

logic: I'll excuse the improper grammar... for now. 

dad: Thank goodness you're awake!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

singalot: What did you want to tell us???

virgil: well has anyone else thought about the condition thomas is in rn?

dad: =0

logic: Although it is a crude statement, I think it is in order for this occasion.

logic: Crap.

dad: LOGAN DON'T SWEAR!!!!

virgil: crap isn't a swear word patton

patton: *breathes dramatically*

logic: Enough with the silly banter! What do you suppose is happening with Thomas? 

virgil: wellll perhaps we should get out these stupid AUs and find out?

singalot: VIRGIL USED CAPITAL LETTERS! :0

I rolled my eyes. It's not like I never use capitals, right?

logic: Yes, I suppose that should be our task at hand, finding the portal back home. We'll have to find another way to make Virgil anxious again. 

virgil: yea speaking of that

virgil: i'm worrying again

logic: How!?

virgil: *shrug* 

dad: Well we need to find that portal!!

singalot: I AGREE! 

virgil: found it.

I slipped my phone in my pocket, walking toward the swirling yellow light I saw beginning to form on the floor of the cellar. And ignoring the constant buzzing coming from my pocket, I leaped into it without hesitation.
