Flowerfell Sans (Part 2)

You turned around only to.... See nothing?? You were confused as hell. "I swear someone just said to shake thier..." you trailed off not hearing the almost silent chuckle of what lurked behind you. You gave a sigh as you turned back to continue, only to jump and let out a small shriek of surprise to see a skeleton in front of you.

...wait back up..

A skeleton?? You had to be dreaming. You shook your head, thinking he'd be gone by the next second but he wasn't. Then you realised that you really shouldn't be all that shocked. I mean, You've met A talking flower...who is currently with you hiding...You've met talking bugs, Frogs, a goat, hell even a talking. Vegetable. Why would you be surprised to meet a skeleton?? You chuckled at your inner thoughts, not realising that you looked really weird.

The skeleton didn't know what to think. This was new, he had never met you before. But he did admit you looked kinda cute, but in this world it was kill or be killed so he pushed that thought aside and cleared his non-existant throat to re-gain your attention.

You heard him, or her, you assumed it was a guy, clear his....throat? you didn't know. You shook your head and gave a smile, "S-Sorry about that! I was just lost in thought....Hehe..." You trailed off nervously. You could hear Flowey's quiet rambles and protests. "what do you think you're doing?!" "No! Don't act so friendly!!!" "You're going to die!!!" "Run!!" hearing his voice tremble in fear made you upset so you subtly pet one of his petals to comfort him, which it did. SO much so that he leaned in and almost purred.

You smiled again at this, completely missing what the skeleton was saying. "HEY!" You turned your head towards him again. He was verrrrryyyy annoyed and confused, you could hear it in his voice. "tch, i dunno what's got ya smiling so much but whateva..I'm Sans, Sans the skeleton, and you are a human." He spoke, well more like stated. You nodded your head. "Um...Yes, Yes I am? And My name is (y/n)! It's nice to meet you." You gave him a sweet smile and tucked some of your hair against your ear.

He scoffed at your attitude. "Tch, Stop being so damn nice. it'll get ya killed." he grumped which you pouted at. He wouldn't admit it, but you looked adorable when you pouted. shaking these thoughts away he continues. "My bro will find ya, and kill ya, so watch yer back kid." He stated before walking off. No jokes, no small talk. Nothing.

You sighed and noitced flowey pop his head out of your coat/jacket. "I think that went rather well." you stated. Flowey gave you a weird look. ".....you're weird." You nodded as if agreeing, which you were. "I know, buuuuutttt I like that. It makes me special. Now, come on, before we freeze to death in this cold!" you stated and continued.

He sighed loudly and looked down to see the petal in his hands. The petal , the last one from Their head...the last one before they-

He stiffled a cry in his throat and gripped hte petal tighter. Why? Why did you have to remind him so much of... Your kindness...Your seeming innocence...They all reminded him Of the last human that came here. He sighed and teleported to their grave.

"FRISK" It read. A boquet (Is that how you spell it?) on top of the gravestone. he sat down next to it and layed his head on the stone. "I....I don't know what ta do....I....I know you'd want me to help them...but...I don't think I can do it again..go through the pain sweetheart...I...." he was begining to choke up on his own tears. He began to sob lightly when he felt warmth. It felt familiar like...them, like Frisk's. He looked up through his tears to see the ghostly sillo-ette of the child, the one he failed to save. More tears fell upon his cheekbones at this moment. Frisk glided towards him and whispered 2 words that both made him happy and regretful. .
