There was supposed to be peace after the Last War. There wasn’t supposed to be any other threat; not for them. They wanted peace – they deserved peace.

But, of course, a demigod’s luck is always rotten – especially when it’s the luck of one of the Seven.

Something has gone very, very wrong in the world of gods, magic, and monsters. The gods are all losing their powers, slowly turning mortal, and catching illness after illness. A new darkness is looming over Olympus and its gods. Things are stirring, people are changing, and bonds are breaking.

And, as always, Percy, Annabeth, Piper, Jason, Hazel, Leo, and Frank are the world’s only hope.
