[6] Moron

Kagami walks beside Azuma Sarutobi as Team 10 makes their way towards their mission destination.

Ino will not stop complaining and whining.

"When will we get there Sensei?"

'Hmph, it's funny that she can't tell that this is her final testing. All the teams were given a D rank mission at the same time. But I guess she's dumb.' Yua snickers to her host.

'Oh course she is. She spends more time thinking about her weight then her fate.' Kagami replies.

"In a day or two." Azuma answers.

"Huuuh? Why so long?" She asks, striding up to her Sensei.

"Because we are collecting a scroll from one village and then handing it over in another. So we have a lot of walking to do."

"Ugh! This is going to take forever." She whines.

"Be quiet you moron." Kagami says to her.

Ino spins to the girl furiously.

"What did you call me?" She spits.

Kagami just continues to walk ahead.

"Hey! I asked you a question!" Ino shouted after her.

Ino walks straight up behind Kagami and raises her hand.

"Don't ignore me!" As she yells this her hand slams down, swinging to hit Kagami's scalp.

SMACK

Team 10's eyes widen considerably. Kagami has managed to stop Ino's attack and send her flying.

Kagami looks down at Ino who is now on the floor.

"Don't touch me," She turns around to keep walking, "Moron."

Choji helps Ino up.

"How dare she?! She ignored me and then gets angry at me!" Ino stomps her heels into the ground while glaring at the silver haired girl.

"She may have ignored you, but you went to hit her. You are immediately at fault." Choji says as he pulls out a bag of chips.

Ino snatches them away from him, "Stop eating!"

"Tsk, what a drag."

"Don't you star-"

Kagami grabs the three Genin by the back of their clothes and jumps into a high branch on a nearby tree.

"Hey! What do you think you-"

Shikamaru cuts her off this time and covers her mouth with his hand. Ino is about to protest when she notices Kagami's gaze. She leans forwards and watches.

Three Rain Nin walk out from the left and two Sound Nin on the right. Immediately they attach each other.

Ino's eyes widen as she watches the fight.

'How did she sense them? Not even Shikamaru did yet she noticed them before us and still had tome to get us to safety. This girl, who ever she is, is not a Genin.' Shikamaru glances at Kagami out of the corner of his eye, trying to figure her out.

Ino's mind is somewhere completely different.

'How dare he take her side. I swear one day I'll get you Shikamaru! And how dare she touch my clothes, they're probably filthy now. Wait! Shikamaru normally doesn't take sides? What if... what if Shikamaru likes Kagami? NOO! WAIT! AZUMA-SENSEI!' Ino glances around the trees frantically trying to find her sensei.

He spotted him a few trees away, writing something down in a book that magically disappeared and reappeared every now-and-then.

Choji, on the other hand, is watching the fight very closely. He was trying to figure out why the two from Sound seem to be winning over the three from Rain.

'One of the Sound Nin is a sensory type. He can sense all the moves coming from the other Nin. Which means as soon as they defeat the Rain Nin she will be able to sense us.' Choji looks over the Kagami and tries to sign to her.

She looks at his hands and figures out the slightly rusty signs. She nods and slowly signs back and answer to his warning.

'Move one at a time so we are surrounding them. Me first.' She uses the simplest signs possible before body-flickering off to the trees above the ending fight.

Choji looks at his teammates and explains it to them in a hushed whisper. Nodding in understanding Shikamaru moves first. Ino who takes a slightly longer time to wrap her head around the instructions moves second.

Choji sits still and positions himself so he can see both his Sensei and Kagami.

Azuma observes the movements of his pupils.

'Kagami will be able to take the blow if any of the Genin make a wrong move, but she can also pull them out from her position as well as immediately defeating the opposition.

The Genin themselves are only slightly off target, it will take them the same amount of tome to get to the enemy, but they might intercept each other.' Azuma slouches further back into the foliage as the male Rain Nin slams the last Sound Nin into the ground by her head.

"A easy defeat. It seems that the other villages are getting weaker, while we are only getting stronger. Thanks to our knew lord." The male says cockily while kicking over one of the Sound Nin onto their back.

He couches down to look at his face, "He looks like shit!"

"Be quiet Talki, you might attract even more attention then you already have." The sensory type Female Nin says walking into the middle of the path.

He looks around the bases of the trees before looking slightly up, her eyes focusing on where Ino is stationed.

"We are already surrounded by four ninja."

'Four? There are five of us.. unless..' Shikamaru looks up to where Kagami used to be to see her missing.

"Come out, come out! We know your there!" The male Rain Nin yells obnoxiously.

Suddenly Kagami appears silently behind the two, both of them obviously to the fact they are in danger.

She silently pulls out her katana, the sun glinting of the blade, sending a signal to Choji.

He jumps out and lands right in front of them both, sending them stumbling back as the ground crumbles at their feet.

Shikamaru jumps and lands behind a tree closes to the two, the shade of the tree being a large advantage to them.

Curbing his fingers together he mumbles out his attack. The shadow of the tree stretches out and grips onto the soles of the sensory Nin.

Ino jumps out of hiding and pulls a kunai up to the neck of the male Nin.

Kagami's katana glints against the the sides of their necks.

"Be careful what you wish for."
