[24] Sneaky

Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky. Is all Kagami could think as she watched people cheat. She would write down their numbers on her paper and flash it to the chunin for her row as she flips her paper over.

He would scribble them down before calling them out and sending them out of the room. Kankuro noticed this, he would point someone out every now and then. It would seem he is doing anything to bring the numbers down. Which anyone would do. Lower the number the higher the chance of winning.

Even though it seemed that with his brothers 'situation' it would be very hard for them to lose, not to mention that himself and his sisters have proven to be quite skilful ninja as well. A unbeatable team it would seem. But as Kagami knows well, there is always a weak link on the team and she is determined to find the one in this team. She suspects that their greatest strength many also be their greatest weakness.

Shukaku.

He harms his host meaning the host is unstable and unwilling to have his power. Suggesting that the host is not loyal to Shukaku he is only scared of defying him, because of what lies next. Shukaku May push Gaara so hard that he shuts down. His body may physically not be able to withstand the pressure of him. That it he may be extremely mentally unstable.

Even with all this information Kagami is unable to figure out what the Sand Siblings are on edge about. But she gets distracted easily by Team 7.

'Sasuke and Naruto are terrible at cheating, whereas Sakura is just too smart so she doesn't need to cheat.' Kagami deadpans and shakes her head, trying not to focus on them. Suddenly a white fluffy beast sits down right in front of her.

The cat, Yusi. She stares at the cat for a second before testing something.

'Go help Naruto and Sasuke with their tests,' she nods and hops off the desk and weaves through people's feet until she reaches Naruto and jumps onto his desk, scaring him and Hinata simultaneously. Kagami smirks to herself silently before writing down extra numbers and flipping her page over.

She freezes as Kankuro raises his hand.

"Yes?" Ibiki stares down on him.

"Bathroom?" He asks, making Lagami shift her eyes to him.

'Obvious lie, but he has something good planned. Something slightly unexpected.' She glances up at Ibiki without moving her head and nodding as lightly as possible. He nods to Kankuro and the boy leaves with a chunin at the back of the room.

'Oh, oh. The chunin, he's a puppet master. Sneaky, sneaky.' Kagami taps the desk lightly before pretending to write on her paper a little to throw off any suspecting individuals. She eyes the room carefully, making sure no one else is cheating. She writes a few numbers down, but much less than before. She flips the page over obviously and the chunin calls out the numbers he can see.

She rubs them out carefully before leaning back in her seat, staring at the ceiling for a while.

"Times up! Hands off sheets." Ibiki stares around the room, making sure that no one was still writing.

'So incompetent. It's incredible.'  Kagami shakes her head and smirks to herself.

"It's time for the tenth and final question," Ibiki scans the room, nodding slightly to let his chunin know they can collect the papers. As they do Ibiki smirks at all the kids in front of him. "There is a catch to this question, if you fail it, you can never participate in the chunin exams ever again. But if you forfeit your team leaves with you."

Many people freeze, staring at the man in front of them, eyes wide in disbelief. No one moves, they just stare. Kiba slams him palms on the table and shouts in protest, but Kagami isn't paying attention, she's too busy watching Naruto, clench and unclench his fists.

'He won't do it, he got past the written test.' Kagami glances around the room quickly, her eyes attracted to any movement and there is a lot.

Many people stand up and forfeit, their heads low and their team agitated. Kagami's eyes widen at the amount of people willing to give up without trying. But they widen further as Naruto stands up, his hand in the air.

"YOU DON'T SCARE ME!" Kagami sighs and rolls her eyes.

'Should of known, it's time for some inspirational speech from Naruto Uzumaki the great.'

'Is that sarcasm I here?'

'Fuck off Masaru.'

'Oh my god... did you just..? Oh my god....'

'Masaru.'

'Gone, absolutely no trace.'

Kagami notices the room was now looking at Ibiki gains who was tying his head protector back onto his head.

She stares at him, trying to not flinch as a large objects flys through the window. Her eyes glide over to rest on it. The 'large object' is a woman and a flag. She grins widely at the group, her purple hair sticking up wildly.

"I am Anko! Your proctor for stage 2 of the chunin exams." She smiles wildly around the room. "Meet me at the Forest of Death in three hours!"

Ibiki facepalms at the woman. "Your early again, Anko."

Kagami's face pulls up at one side as she grimaces at the scene.

'Awkwaaaard.'

'MA—'

Kagami stares around at the people around her, they all looked scared at the thought of going into the forest that they are currently standing in front of. But Kagami just blinks at it. The Forest of Death is a well known Anbu training ground as it imitates what might happen on an actual mission, drilling into the Anbu that who you are after is not your only enemy. She seemed to be the only person that didn't react as a loud noise rushed out from deep within the forest. She looks over at her genin team and walks over slowly, knowing they will make some sort of ruckus.

Just as she starts to make her way over she spots a lady with a straw hat on and a pasty face. Her eyes widen and she falls into shock, but keeps on walking towards the team, trying to not make it obvious that she thought that the lady was the one who had captured her once upon a time.

"Stupid-maki, Useless, Uchiwa," the team turns to her as she stops next to them. "Don't trust her." She mumbles, her eyes moving from them to the lady as a sign to show who she is talking about. The three stare at her dumbly, and points over at her as she rolls her eyes.

"Stupid-maki doesn't work." Kagami sighs at them.

'Why do I try?'

'Cau—forgive me.'

"What is a 'Uchiwa'?" Sakura stares at the girl.

"'Wa' is the word you say when you cry or you are upset when you are a child. Because Sasuke is always acting upset and self-centred like a child, he is a Uchiwa." Naruto starts to laugh and points and Sasuke, unable to hold it in.

"Stupid-maki is self explanatory."

"Huh?" Naruto stops laughing and stares at Kagami in shock. Sasuke smirks and Sakura starts to laugh loudly her inner demon having a field trip.

A kunai wizzes between them, nicking Naruto's face. Kagami pulls out her Katana looking towards Anko.

"Oi!"
