Kagami silently walks through the villages quiet streets on her way to the front gates. Two Anbu escorting her from her cell. She knows full well that the two Anbu are Toshiro and Masaki but chooses not to mention it.
She watches all the closed stalls pass her by, everyone has already turned in for the night. They decided to move her during the middle of the night, that way there would be minimal reaction and people wouldn't come to watch as she is forced to hand over her identification and her head-band.
Dread rings through her insides as she notices how close they are getting to the village entrance, she knows it is inevitable. One way or another she was going to be forced to leave the village today, she is slightly happier that she is alive while she is leaving.
Her two Anbu stop before they turn the final corner. Toshiro turns around and holds out his hand.
"We got you a happy banishment gift! We hope you like it!" He places it in her hand before turning around again and continuing on their course.
She smiles lightly and places the wrapped present into her ninja pouch. Tsunade gave it back to her before she left the cell. Under law, the village must give the person in question something to defend themselves with, overwise it is pretty much the same as execution.
She almost closes her eyes as she turns the corner to face the gate, but manages to keep herself emotionless. Standing ag the gate is her brother. Only him and Ibiki. Ibiki's presence is mandatory, he has to destroy her NI and head-band before she leaves the village. She walks slowly towards the gates, her life seemingly slowly down as she gets closer to it.
She stops in front of Ibiki, her cuffs being removed by Maasaki silently. She reaches into her pouch and produces her NI for Ibiki. As she reaches up to remove her head-band the man shakes his head.
"Keep it, I highly doubt it will make a difference." He pats her head lightly before turning around and walking off, her NI clenched tightly in his hand.
She watches him go before turning to her brother. He stares at her in silence before sweeping down to her height and hugging her tightly. She hugs him back and buries her head into his shoulder for the second time that day.
"You promised me you wouldn't do anything else reckless." He mumbles her quietly, gripping her shirt.
Kagami shakes her head, "I promised I wouldn't get myself killed again, and I've done just that."
Kakashi shakes his head in disbelief before letting his sister go, knowing he may never do it if he held on any longer.
"I trust you to do the right thing," he gives her a small smile and pats her head, "Right Shikamaru?"
Kagami whips around to see the said boy leaning lazily against the gate, his eyes barely trained on the girl. He gives her a nod before pushing off the gate and walking up to her. He gives her another nod before stopping before her.
"Goodbye," he says and walks off back towards his home.
Kagami tries to pretend that it doesn't hurt her to watch him walk away from her, but she fails to keep a stray tear from running down her face. She quickly whips it away and walks towards the gate. She silently walks through them, dread pumping through her as she does.
Silence ensues as she walks her way down the seemingly endless path, her swaying silver hair seemingly being the only thing standing out to them in the dark. Kagami walks forward slowly, knowing she has to walk far enough until they can't see her.
She knows exactly what she has to do. She had plenty of time to think about it while sitting in her cell all day. The only thing troubling her being the how. How is she going to pull this off?
She keeps her eyes trained forward, making sure not to look back at her once home, knowing that she will run back if she did. She reaches around into her pouch and pulls out the wrapped gift. She slowly unwraps it, letting the paper flitter to the ground around her as she walks.
She pulls the gift out and smiles lightly at it. It is the singular only family photo Kagami has. Her taking a photo with Maasaki, Toshiro, Itachi and Shisui. She was very young when the photo was taken, but she can remember the day. Kagami suddenly notices something in the background.
She brings the frame up to her face and squints at it. Her eyes widen. Sitting in the back of the photo, in the right crore of the picture is her brother, looking directly at the camera. She smiles lightly.
'So you knew all along huh? Maasaki and Toshiro?' She looks to the sky as she places the frame back in her pouch.
She turns off the track and wanders into the trees, knowing she far enough that anyone standing at the gates can't see her anymore. She walks far enough into the forest to cross the Konoha perimeter boundary. They won't follow her once she is out of Konoha territory.
She glances around quickly but cautiously before looking into the trees and calling out softly.
"I'm ready."
The reaction was immediately, like he had been waiting for her to call. The said man appears in front of her, Akatsuki uniform on and Sharingang blazing from under his straw hat.
"Ita-nii."

Maasaki sighs and stretches his arms upward, yawning loudly.
"Man I'm tired." He mumbles, glancing at the two men beside him.
Toshiro smiles and pulls his Anbu mask off, stretching as well but not taking his eyes off the path Kagami just walked down.
"You know I don't think I've ever seen her do that before."
Maasaki turns to him, Kakashi glancing as well, "Do what?"
Toshiro smiles sadly, finally looking over to the two men.
"Shout."

IT. IS. OVER.
How are we all feeling after that rollercoaster?
How many of you actually made it all the way to chapter 63?
I would have liked to mention a few people who have supported the book from the start but honestly, there are too many to count at this stage. I want to thank you all for making it this far in Kgaami's story, it has certainly gone a lot further than I ever thought it would.
I know I kinda sped to the end quickly, I pumped out 25 word-heavy chapters in the last month but I'm happy you made it through that all.
Kagami's story will continue on, that's for sure. I'm a little sad that I've finished the first chapter of her story, to be honest.
I hope you all enjoyed the hell out of this book because I certainly enjoyed writing it.
