"They haven't made a lot of progress in the past few days." Kagami has a book covering her face as she eats, her eyes glancing around the table at her two team members.

"Kagami, your little progress is their intros ninja career," Kakashi looks up at his sister, having speed eaten his food; so Sakura didn't see his face. "Have a little faith."

"I do have faith in them, just not a lot." Tazuna snorts into his soup at this, making Tsunami and Sakura glare at him.

"Well that's a 'little progress.'" Kagami openly glares at her brother, placing her book down.

"Thank you for the food." Kagami nods towards Taunami who offers her a smile in return.

"Kagami?" Sakura places her spoon down, "Why are you here? I mean you didn't leave with us but you are here,"

Kagami glances at the girl, "The Hokage told me to come so I came. Plus The Assassins Shadow is on the loose—" Kagami suddenly clamps her mouth shut, suddenly remembering her situation. She was wanted for treason in Konaha at the moment, she can't be giving away things that may add to it.

Suddenly the door slams open, showing Sasuke and Naruto holding each other up.

"We both made it," Naruto smirks at them all, "we made it to the top."

"Good," Kakashi starts, "Now let's move on, starting tomorrow you two are protecting Tazuna." Naruto smiles brightly at Kakashi while Sasuke smirks.

"ALRIGHT!" Naruto raises his fists, causing both boys to fall backwards.

"You are such an idiot." Sasuke shakes his head at Naruto, making everyone laugh.

Naruto lays his head in the table, having eaten and talked his mouth off at the table has worn him out. Tazuna and Tsunami doing the dishes together.

"Kagami?" The said girl looks over at her brother from Naruto, tilting my head. "What are you thinking?" She shake hwr head at her brother a little.

"Nothing, just. . . . ." She tilts her head a bit, trying to say this in a way he won't pick up on her discomfort. ". . . I feel as if, I am involuntarily opening up to this team, even though I haven't known you long."

"You call you talking more than twice a day opening up?" She almost scowls at Sakura, but decided to ignore him.

"You don't like it." Kagami freezes under her brothers gaze, she open my mouth to talk but a slam rings through the kitchen. We turn around, noticing Inari with his palms flat on the table.

"Why. . . . ?" Naruto looks up from the table, obviously being woken up from his sleep.

"What did you say?" He mumbles at the kid.

"Why do you keep trying?! All this stupid training and crap talk!" Inari screams at Naruto, making me tense, Kagami almost rises from her seat to leave, but Inari starts up again. "Gato has a army! He'll squish you in an instant! THERE IS NO POINT! IT'S ALL USELESS!"

Naruto snaps, "Hey listen here kid! You don't understand what it's like to be a ninja. All you do is sit around a cry! So stop acting like some star of a tragedy story and get over yoursel—"

"Naruto calm down." Kagami grabs his shoulder, trying to get him to stop. Inari looks straight at her, and points.

"You don't even try! I bet you haven't done anything in you life! You're some stupid outcast!" This time it was Kagami's turn to snap.

Moving so fast if you blinked you might miss it, Kagami is on the table in front of Inari, a kunai pressing him the few inches away from her and up against the wall, she eyes a silver colour, scaring the boy.

"Look around you  no one on this table—except Haruno over there—has a family. They are all dead. Some of us even having to witness the murder of our parents. You have a mum, you have a grandfather. You have even been lucky to have a dad in your life. So you better get over yourself before you get yourself killed. If it weren't for me stopping him, Masaru would of killed you by now, strike one. If it wasn't for Yua stopping me, I would of killed you by now, strike two." Everyone in the room stares at the girl, a strange chakra emitting from her.

"Now if you even think about insulting me or my family ever again, I won't hesitate to kill you. You got it, kid?" Inari nods at the girl, tears streaming down his face in fright.

Kagami releases him and flips backwards off the table, "I'm going for a walk." She slams the door open, making everyone jump.

"Kakashi-sensei save me." Naruto steps behind the silver haired man.

"She wasn't threatening you, Naruto."

"But she's scary!"

"It would seem as soon as you get close to someone, something causes you to distance yourself from them again." Masaru grumbles from Kagami's lap, her hand resting on his head lightly.

"It always happens, nothing new." The girl leans against a tree and closes her eyes. "That man from the trial,"

"What about him?" Masaru raises his head.

"I wonder why he is trying to frame me? I've never met him before in my life." Kagami starts to pat Masaru's head again.

Masaru places his head back down on her lap, "Maybe you killed a family member, or he thinks it will save him from his fate."

"But how. . . . ." Kagami stays silent for a second, thinking over her words, '. . How would he know my name, my village and what age I was placed in Root, and where I came from." This makes Masaru extremely alert. His gut dropping as all the pieces start to fit together, though one piece just doesn't seem to fit correctly.

". . . But who is he?" Kagami opens her eyes and looks down at the wolf whose eyes are wider than it seems possible.
