My Mistake

You look Familiar

Caterina's POV

I've been so tired and cranky lately. I can't wait till baby Dallas comes.

I look at Cameron. He just got home from work and is passed out on the couch. Guess who gave him a ride.

Mmmhh, Taylor. She is the bitchy girl that works at Carabas.

Cam tells me nothing is going on between them but I don't believe it.

I look at him grab my phone and keys and go to my car. I sit in it for awhile deciding where to go.

I go to the beach. It's weird even though I got attacked I'm not afraid to go back in the water.

While I'm there I see someone who looks familiar. Actually two familiar people.

Oh my god. It's Chase and Taylor. They are under a tree making out. Like hardcore.

Once they stop Taylor walks away. I was close enough to hear their conversation.

They were talking about how they wanted to grow old together and shit.

Then Taylor said she had to go so she could work an extra shift.

I slowly make my way over to chase. He is facing the water and I walk up behind him.

"Um hi Chase."

He recognizes my voice and shoots his head towards me. He immediately stands up.

"Hi Cat, um how's it going."

I see something in his eyes. I try to tell him to let me in but he won't let me see what he's feeling.

It looks like guilt, regret and sadness. I realized that we had been staring at each other.

Right when I was gonna break the eye contact between us he pulled me and kissed me.

I was in shock didn't he just make out with Taylor. I could tell he was letting me in.

The kiss showed me everything. I was right he felt guilty for breaking the relationship off.

Regret for letting me go so easily and sad that he had been so dumb to not come after me.

I eventually kissed him. I realized it was wrong so I broke the kiss.

"Chase I'm sorry but I have a boyfriend."

He looked so hurt and it killed me to see him that way.

But wait didn't he make me fell that way for weeks. Crying myself to sleep every night.

"Chase are you and Taylor dating?"

I asked sternly. He knew I wanted an answer.

"Yes. why are you asking?"

"I think she might be cheating on you."
