My Mistake

Same old asshole

Caterina's POV

I sat in my car waiting for Cam to get to steak'n shake. I looked at Dallas. I thought back to the day I gave birth to him.

It was one of the best days of my life. Getting married was supposed to be another great day but here I am looking like a hot mess drinking my chocolate peanut butter milshake with my baby in the back of the car.

I looked down at my hand and saw the beautiful ring Cam gave me. I jumped out of my seat when someone knocked on my window. I looked and saw Cam with a caring/concerned face.

He walked around the car to the passengers side of the car. He hopped in and hugged me. I lost it. I started bawling my eyes out. I hugged Cam back.

"Today we were supposed to get married and go on our honeymoon and now it's...it's...."

"Cat it's ok I'm right here you'll be alright."

Cam's words were comforting but I still felt guilty that I ever loved that douche of a man Chase. I took in Cam's scent he smelled like axe. It was then I realized he was still in his tux. I started to laugh ever so slightly.

"What's so funny?"

Cam asked while trying to hold back laughter.

"Nothing it's just your still in your tux."

"Well I was worried sick and called you multiple times then I rushed over here I didn't really have a chance to change."

Cam said chuckling smoothly with a duh kinda tone. I thought about it and it made sense.

"What do we do now?"

I asked about to start crying again.

"We reschedule or we can just have our own private wedding."

A private wedding didn't sound that bad just us maybe my parents, his parents it would be perfect.

" A private wedding seems like a good Idea. Did you talk to my dad at all today after the disaster of a wedding?"

Cam cringed at the mention of my dad. I looked at him wondering why. Just earlier today they were talking and stuff.

"Yourdaddidntwantmetomarryyou."

Cam said super fast. It took me a minute to process it all.

"Cam what are you saying."

He looked at me with sincerity.

"Your dad got Chase into the wedding so we wouldn't get married. The only reason your dad came today was to make sure his plan worked and it did."

I was starting to get mad at this point. How could he accuse my dad of that.

"Oh my god are you saying the only reason my dad came to the wedding was to ruin it and that he helped Chase. Cam what is wrong with you I thought you would never lie to me."

After I said those words I thought of something. I went to go see my parents this morning and my dad still wouldn't talk to me he would only give me a disapproving glare.

Then out of the blue he shows up to walk me down the aisle and acts like nothing ever happened.

"You would never lie to me would you?"

I asked tears forming in my eyes.

"Cat I love you to much to lie to you."

I started to cry. First my father doesn't wanna talk to me because I got pregnant and now he ruined my wedding.

That asshole was going to pay for the damage he has caused. Just then my phone buzzed. I saw it was Chase.

Either you get back together with me or I'm going to court for full custody of our baby.
