Ch 3

Nikki's pov
I got ready and was already on my way to meet Colby. I was so freaking excited. He had told me to meet him at the Walmart so he could get a few things so that's where I was going.
I pulled into the parking lot going into Walmart like he said to do. I met him at the front entrance and we started to have a little adventure in Walmart.
"Ooooo we need these" I said putting light bulbs into the basket.
"No Nikki. Bad" he laughed putting them back. I'd been doing this the entire time and he laughed each time.
      "Colby omg we need this!" I said running over to a giant bear. I tried picking it up from the bottom shelf but it was stuck on something so it looked like I was just stupid and couldn't pick it up.
    "You can't even pick it up, no" he said with a smile. I looked over with a smile.
"No it's just stuck" I said as we started to walk down to check out. A few fans had seen him and come up to him and he was so sweet to them. A few would say hi to me and I would say hello back but for the most part it was him.
       "Alright let's go" he said and we started walking out the door. We found his car first then we found mine.
    "Okay so let's go back to the house, drop off your car then we will go" he told me. I nodded and he walked away.
     I followed him to the house and we dropped my car off then I ran to get into his car.
"Seatbelt young lady" he said pointing. I smiled putting on my seatbelt and he drove us somewhere. That somewhere I don't know.
    I've basically had a smile all day that hasn't left my face.
"We are here!" He fake squealed pointing at the building. I looked over seeing we were at Big Air. That trampoline place.
    "We went to a trampoline place" I said excitedly. He nodded and we got out. I was already jumping up and down.
      "So the boys that were supposed to meet us here?" He said.
"Yeah" I said still jumping.
  "They canceled" he said.
"So it's just me and you" I said stopping jumping and acting all annoyed. He smiled big and didn't say anything.
    "Might as well take me home now" I said looking at my nails. I looked up at him and he had a hand over his heart and looked butt hurt. I started laughing at his expression
    "I'm kidding I'm kidding" I laughed hugging him as we walked.
"Mhmmm. You probably want uncle Elton" he said. I never stopped hugging his side till we got to the door.
    "Well uncle Elton is pretty....sssss.....no I'm just kidding Colby" I laughed even harder. He laughed shaking his head at my stupidity.
      I got my jumping sticker and he was getting his. I was sitting down taking my shoes off and all I could think was. This is A boy that I'm legit just being myself around, and he isn't judging me. Or at least I don't think.
      "You ready to go jump" he said. I nodded and we put our shoes over in that thing that holds shoes.
     "Where do you wanna go first" he said. I scanned around and so did he. I pointed to the plain jumping area and we headed over there.
    "Did you know in high school I was a cheerleader" I said to him.
"Really?" He said.
    "No" I smiled. He smiled and let out a small laugh. I started to jump then saw that big lane for doing flips or whatever. I started to do a front flip and luckily landed it. Not saying I've never done one but with my luck I'd just fall or some shit.
    "Ooouuuu look at you" Colby said walking over. He showed me a couple flips.
We decided to play dodge ball, let's just say. I threw the ball perfectly and it hit him in the back of the head when he turned around.
    I fell down laughing as he had his hand looking at me while laughing.
"I'm so sorry" I said running over to him. He acted all butt hurt and yet again here I was hugging him laughing.
   "I'll forgive you if we can go get ice cream after this" he said. I said deal and we went to get a drink before we leave.
"Where did you go to high school Nikki" he asked me as we walked over to get a drink.
    "Well are you asking where I'm from or where I went to school" I said. He thought for a moment.
    "No one cares about school where are you from" he said making me laugh.
"Well I am from Denver, Colorado, but then my mom wanted a change so we moved to Kansas for a bit then we moved to New Mexico and now she stayed there" I said.
   "You lived in Kansas? For how long?" He asked as we sat down at a table.
"I wanna say it was like a year. I was like 14 so my eighth grade year" I said.
    "I've lived in Kansas before I moved out here" he said. I truly didn't know that he lived in Kansas.
    "No way that's cool" I said.
"When did you move here?" He asked me.
     "Well my mom met this guy when we were in New Mexico, and so they dated or whatever then they moved in together and they decided they wanted to have their house there and soon enough they got married. So one day he asked me where do you want to go. What's your dream place to live. And I said California and then he helped me work my ass off for it. And I've been here for about let's see I'm 19 so like almost two years" I said.
     "Oh wow, your step dad seems nice" he said. I nodded as we found our shoes.
"Yeah he is. My mom really likes him" I smiled.
    "Do you have siblings" he asked as we walked out to his car.
"Yes, I have an older brother and a older sister" I said as we got into the car. He told me about his family and things he wants to do as we drove to a small place to get ice cream.
     "So Katrina said you sing as well?" He said.
"With her. But she like forces me to haha" I said as we sat down at a little table.
    "Oh" he laughed.
"Yeah. She pushes me to do a lot" I said. We talked for a bit before we decided to go back to his house.
     "Wanna hangout for a bit?" He asked me.
" I would love to but I have work tomorrow and I know if I hangout with you I'm not leaving till like 3 am" I laughed.
   "That's true, well hit me up this week so we can" he smiled. I nodded and we hugged goodbye. I went home and he was still on my mind.
