The sun has set when we arrive, and we crouch behind a wrecked car.
My foot lands on a twig and it snaps loudly. Gunfire goes off from the wall and we shoot back. When it stops, the woman raises herself slowly.
"Tyreese? It's me!" she yells.
"Karen? Why are you with them?" Tyreese yells.
"They saved me!"
After a long pause, Rick yells, "We're coming out!"
We emerge from behind the car, hands raised.
"Where's the others?" a female voice asks from the wall, probably Sasha.
"The Governor opened fire on us. Killed them all," Karen says.
There's a pause and the gates swing open, revealing Tyreese and Sasha.
"Why are you here?" Tyreese asks.
"We came to finish this, but it looks like there's no need now," Rick answers.
"We have women and children here," Sasha says.
"I know, that's why we're gonna bring you back to the prison," he says.
Everyone stares at Rick.
"Like, let them live with us?" I ask.
"Yes. They shouldn't have to live with someone like The Governor." He pauses. "Have you got a bus we could use?"
"Yeah. We'll go get ready," Tyreese says.
We go inside Woodbury and start to help them pack up.
"Tyreese? Did Andrea go with The Governor?" I ask as I toss a bag into the back of a grey bus.
"Not that I know of." He pauses. "Now that I think of it, I haven't seen her since this morning. I think she was in that building."
He points to the building where we found Glenn and Maggie, and I immediately head to where Rick and Daryl are after a quick "thank you".
"Rick! Daryl!" I call. They are currently helping some of the elderly residents to the bus. "Andrea."
They both know what I'm thinking of immediately, and we get Michonne and head to the building.
Inside, we rush to the rooms where Glenn and Maggie were. In one of the other rooms, it's a horrible sight, to say the least.
A dead walker lays on the ground near a beat up barber shop chair, and Andrea sits against a wall, a bloody bite mark at the base of her neck.
She looks up at us and smiles weakly, and I say nothing, having no words to say. Daryl pulls me close to him, and I breathe deeply. We leave the room, and Michonne and Rick talk quietly with Andrea.
After a few moments, Rick comes out of the room, and a little while later, a gunshot goes off.
----------
By the time the sun rises the next morning, we're driving into the prison, the bus of survivors following us.
Tyreese parks the bus and the people climb out, looking at their surroundings with wide eyes.
"What is this?" Carl asks.
"They're gonna join us," Rick explains.
He smiles lightly, looking up to one of the links.
"Is Lori there?" I whisper to him.
"No," he says. "And that's how I know that I'm doing the right thing."
