A Boy

It was morning already I opened the window and Bae was sleeping next to the window
He probably fell asleep waiting for me
I tried to step over him to get to my bed
But he woke up quiet frantically
" it's all right it's just me"
I Said
We went and sat on the bed

"So what's it like over there"
Bae asked

"Its an island , where there are no grown ups to tell you what to do, but there are mermaids and faries and a bunch of mystical creatures"
I explained

" then why did you return "
Bae asked

" Beacause when night fell , that's when all the children started to miss their parents and they cried through the night"
I started to feel a not fill in my stomach as if I wanted to cry

"Well why don't they go home "

" the shadow won't let them, there's a reason it's called neverland , because once you step foot on it's soil , the shadow never let's you leave"
I said
I thought back to the time Peter let me go

"H-how did you escape "
Bae said

" he let me go because he didn't want me "
Once I said that I wanted to cry
" he wanted a boy"
I said
We then looked at my brother sound asleep
"He's coming back tonight to take one of my brothers in my place "
I then turned to look at my bae

"You said magic was bad and you were right ,bae .... and it's going to destroy my family "
I said

"No , I won't let anything bad happen to you or this family"
Bae said

He had turned from quiet to completely sure my family was going to be okay
He then grabbed my hand
And held it
The last time I held a boys hand was with Peter

Once it was night
My parent wished us goodnight and left
We then started to get ready
We lit at least 5 candles

Locked the window

And my brothers were armed with toy swords and John held his umbrella
As bae held a toy mallet and a
Candle holder

We then went in our beds

Then before we knew it the candles all went out
One by one
We knew it was the shadow
Then the window burst open
"In the crawl space "
Bae yelled

We all went in as the shadow flew into out rooms
As I realized Michael wasn't in the crawl space
" Michael !"
We yelled
The shadow was right in front of my youngest brother

Bae then came out of the crawl space and stood in front of the shadow
" I will go with you if you promise to never to bother this family again"
Bae said

I then shot out of the crawl space
" bae no"
I yelled
The shadow Then grabbed bae

I reached and grabbed bae's hand

Bae turned to me and said
" thank you Wendy for making me part of your family"

My hand then slipped and Bae flew out the window to never land
That was the last I saw of Bae for a long time
