Chapters 7 and 8

Chapter 7 Spit:

 

 

 

After being cut down, Madeline stood in front of the Master. She felt dirty. Each step brought up clouds of dust and dirt that coated her wet clothes and skin. One of her shoes was missing, showing a dirty originally cream sock.

 

 

 

She rubbed her wrists and glared at the Master. He took no heed of her as he directed Oscar around the room, cleaning up the rope and the bucket, all those things.

 

 

 

“Oscar, leave the water, you can get that later. Why don’t you take this… Miss Madeline to her room?” He finally said, sounding impatient.

 

 

 

“No!” She cried out, unable to keep her mouth shut. “Please don’t leave me alone with him,” she whimpered.

 

 

 

The Master just laughed at her pleas, “I’ve already told him not to touch you, especially after your breakdown earlier. Don’t worry about him. Oscar, come now!” He clapped his hands together once and Oscar immediately scurried over to his side.

 

 

 

“M-Master, how’m I supposed to lead her if she won’t move?”

 

 

 

“Hm, that’s right… good boy, you’re using your head a bit more,” he gestured to the door way. “Go to my closet, there should be a sturdy usable collar and leash around somewhere, bring it back. Hurry!”

 

 

 

Oscar squealed and ran off.

 

 

 

Madeline stared after her, and then realized with a slight horror what was going to happen. “You can’t put me in a collar, let alone drag me around with a leash! Th-that’s just wrong!”

 

 

 

“Ha ha, like you can tell me what to do, little one. And please stop with that shrill voice, it is seriously starting to bother me.” He folded his arms together and stared her down.

 

 

 

“What are you going to do to me?” She demanded, trying her best not to stop this stare contest.
