Chapter 5 Distasteful:

This was a bad situation to be in. Possibly, most definitely, the worst ever.

Madeline shivered, in the heat of that horrible man and her exchange she had forgotten how cold she was from being drenched with water. After he left it became very apparent exactly how cold she was.

Freezing cold.

The room didn’t seem to be heated in the first place. Secondly, the concrete pole she was tied too seemed to seep any ounce of heat she had in her out. Thirdly, obviously the water. She was cold.

There was nothing to do about it though. Her wrists and hands were going numb from the rough pressure of the rope, and as much as she squirmed they wouldn’t give any.

All she could do was wait.

So she did.

A minute and seven seconds had passed when Madeline started to scream. She screamed and screamed and screamed, what felt like forever, till her throat hurt too much. She stopped and gasped for air.

Then she screamed again, “HELP ME!!” She cried and threw herself around as much as she could. It seemed hopeless, but maybe someone would hear her. Maybe someone would come to her rescue. Surely someone would.

As she screamed again at the top of her lungs, the door slammed open.

The sudden noise stopped her mid-scream.

“Would you kindly mind shutting the hell up?” The man said loudly as he glared at her, behind him, slightly hunched over, was the other terrible man. This must be his Master.

She stared at him, “Wh-what?”

“Shut. The hell. Up. Understand now?” He said slowly as if talking to a child. Her mouth opened slightly but he continued. “Your screaming is very detrimental to certain thought processes, and I would very much like it if you would please shut your fucking mouth.”

“H-how dare you speak to me like that?!” She said with a quivering voice.

He smirked and straightened up his body, “I can do whatever I want, I am the Master here, and you would do well to remember that.”

He glanced over to the awful man, “Oscar, cut her down.”

“Hee hee, she doesn’t look nearly as pretty in pink as she thinks hahaha!” Oscar gleefully said clapping his hands.

The Master and Madeline both looked at him incredulously, and he face palmed. Madeline might have done so as well if she was less of a lady (and not tied up).

Chapter 6 Rain:

“… Miss Madeline was out shopping at that little boutique over on Sentinel Street, um, I think it was called Delish, and she asked me go to run and get her a coffee from the café down the street,” Eloise started to tell Officer Zeb the story of the day.

“Oh, so that part was true?” He asked while handing her a cup of water. He sat down on his black leather couch with a mug of steaming coffee.

She blushed, “Yes, that part was true, Sir.”

He waved his hand, “Please, call me Zeb, I’m off duty.”

She just nodded hesitantly, and then continued, “Well, when I came back with her coffee, she was gone. She had left her purse inside the store with one of the attendants, which makes me think that she meant to come back. Otherwise why would she have left it? It was her favorite PVC heart purse!
