[Author’s Note:] Again, Camp NaNoWriMo, so it’s crap (but it’s my crap D: ), but embrace the suck :P

Contradictions do occur (Maybe not in this chapter…?) as well as spelling mistakes and grammar errors.

Also, for anyone reading, somewhat gruesome death happens in this chapter. You’ve been warned. ENJOY

Chapter 9 Insanity:

The door burst open and someone was shoved into Madeline’s room. She screamed as the figure fell nearly on top of her.

There was a high-pitched giggle (Oscar) from the doorway and the door slammed shut. The lock could be heard be shifted into place.

No getting out tonight.

Madeline settled down enough to kneel on her bed and look over at the newcomer who was rising slowly up from the floor.

It was a girl.

Age wasn’t discernable at that moment, but her hair was blonde and long. She was also dirty.

“Hello,” Madeline began uncertainly, “who are you?”

The girl gave a little sob as she sat down on her bottom heavily; she rubbed her eyes and then said, “Where am I?”

“I don’t know. My name is Madeline Benson, who are you?” She asked slowly.

The girl sniffled, “I’m Vanya Blank, why am I here?!” She started to cry.

Madeline edged off the bed and patted her uncertainly on the shoulder, “Don’t cry, it won’t help anything.” She sat next to her and hugged her softly, the girl (Vanya) clutched at her as if she was some savior. “Do you remember how you got here?” Madeline asked quietly while rubbing the new girl’s back.

“N-no, I was with my big sister, we were going shopping for a new pair of boots… I saw... I saw something outside, and I went outside… I think I didn’t tell my sister, I just went outside. That’s all I remember!” She started to cry harder.
