To practice with photoshop, I decided to make some graphics for stories on Wattpad that I enjoyed and some of my friends.
For the first one, I did Forgetting Billions by my friend Ana. :)
Idk. Other than the fact that I'm not very familiar with photoshop, I feel like I need to improve on my general sense of design before I can be truly good at making covers.
Anyways, Ana's story is kind of a mystery/drama so I attempted a darker themed cover. I also practiced the mirror effect that I did for my very first photoshop edit ;)
Due to the mystery theme of the story, I used the red lines to sort of look like one of those boards where they connect related clues with red strings. The little papers are sort of going along with the same theme. The 'S' will be understood by anyone who's read the book; just trust me that it's different from the rest of the title for a reason.
To Ana: I hope you like it. You wrote a really good story and I enjoyed practicing my photoshop skills (or lack thereof *cries*) on it. :)
