Jimin is nervous. He knows this is risky. The more time he spends with Hobi, the more chance he'll let something slip. And the more chance there is that the hunter would realise Jimin's aura isn't human.

"So, are you ready? Hobi walks into the dance studio and Jimin sits bolt upright.

"Hi!... Um, yeah, I think so..." he bites his lip nervously.

"Okay, first off don't be so scared... We're just training, there are no monsters here." Hoseok chuckles. Jimin laughs nervously, obviously Hobi wasn't going to expect Jimin to be more afraid of him than he was of the 'monsters'. "So what background do you have?.. any exercise, just so I know what I'm working with..."

"Um... I mean I do a lot of cardio, a little resistance training... Mainly though, I dance. If that counts..." Jimin blushes.

"What?? Of course, it does! That's how I started too." Hobi grins. "What style?"

"All sorts... My group is more hip hop, but I studied contemporary." Jimin shrugs.

"Perfect! Fighting things like that is literally just like dancing around for a bit until they lose patience. It's a different dance for each species, but practically every time if you manage to get them to give up on their powers then you'll have enough time to scratch them with something poisonous, and once you've done that you can either finish them off pretty easily or make a run for it. Whichever."

Jimin nods. "I'll go for run... I don't want to kill anyone."

"Anything. They're not people, Jimin." Hobi looks at him disapprovingly.

"How do you know?..." Jimin looks up genuinely intrigued.

"Because people wouldn't mercilessly kill humans.." Hobi looks at the younger, sympathetically. "You might not understand yet, but believe me, when you've come into contact with as many as I have, less even, you'll understand that they're not people. They don't know positive emotions. They only know hate, greed, lust and anger. That's it... Trust me." He pats Jimin on the back. "Stand up. I'm gonna show you some easy defence moves, first. It shouldn't be hard if you're used to dancing." He smiles down at the boy and offers his hand. Jimin takes it. He wants to set Hobi straight, but he knows that'll only end with Hobi trying to kill Yoongi and possibly Jimin too.

They spend the afternoon in the studio and Jimin picks it up pretty quickly. The summin explains that he has dance practice in the same room in an hour and so the two decide to go and get a snack and a cup of coffee together.

"So... Sorry if this is too personal, but... I don't know... It just seems like you have some sort of a personal vendetta..." Jimin starts, not knowing how to word his question.

Hoseok doesn't reply at first, merely continues walking and keeping his steady gaze on the pavement ahead of him. Eventually, though, he speaks up. "My sister was killed not 5 years ago... I don't know what killed her exactly, but I know the last thing she said was that she was going for an interview at DMBI. If you don't know, that's a company Mackly deal with a lot... It's run purely by soulless monsters. That's why I joined Mackly in the first place. I'm gonna make my way up the chain until I get to the top, kill a load of the important ones, and then the rest will scatter out into the open. It's like ants: if you kill the queen, the rest don't know what to do. I need to kill Yoo Won."

Jimin chuckles. He finds it ironic that the exact people Hobi hunts are also trying to kill his arch-enemy. If they worked together, they'd be able to do it easily.

"Something funny?." Hobi frowns, disapprovingly.

"No! J-Just... My life's turning into a comic book..." Jimin looks down, ashamed for not taking the elder's feelings into consideration. He is talking about his dead sister, after all.
