Yoongi taps his fingers on the glass of his coffee table. He is worried. Very worried.
"Yoongi, he'll be fine... this isn't the first time he's been out alone since you turned him. Hell, you haven't even spoken to him for over a week... He's a big boy, He's learnt from Hobi..."
"Tae... Could you get someone to follow him?..."
The younger's eyes widen. He can't believe Yoongi is asking him this.
"Please! How about that girl from the train tracks down the road? She doesn't seem too bad, from what you've said..." Yoongi bites his lip, he knows what he's asking.
"I'm not going in debt to a ghost, Yoongi! You know how that can end!!"
"Just... Ask her what she wants first, then! M-Make a deal with her once you know her conditions, just... Please Tae, I've got a really bad feeling about this!..."
Tae clenches his jaw. Jimin had been called into work, urgently. His new boss is awful, but not a demon. Yoongi hates that in particular. If he wasn't human then Yoongi could threaten him. Jimin is with his boss and "someone" from DMBI, having a meeting, "somewhere". No one was told who or where. A car was sent.
But worse than that, Tae always gets this feeling when there's going to be a death close by him. And today he's had a big feeling. As if many people would, or someone very close to him.
"Okay..." Tae gulps.
Yoongi looks up, shocked. "Really??"
"I'm scared too... I like him and he's good for you and... and I think me and him could be friends... Like really good ones..."
Yoongi smiles. "He thinks you already are, Tae.."
The younger grins. "Really? He doesn't think I'm weird?..."
"He thinks you're crazy! But he loves it..."
Tae grins more and nods. "Okay, don't worry, hyung... I'll get that girl to follow him." He walks to the fire exit.
"Thank you, Tae, I really appreciate it..."
"I'm doing this for Jimin, not you." The younger rolls his eyes and he shuts the window behind him.
Yoongi is left alone and he's even more scared now. He should never have let Jimin go alone. He's such a shit fragment. He has been for the past month and a bit. Hell, he has been since he turned Jimin. Maybe even since he met him...
After what felt like hours, but was probably only minutes, Tae runs back in.
"Yoongi, we have to go now!" His eyes are wide, panicked. He's dialling a number into his phone. "Call that werewolf kid, tell him to meet us there as soon as possible."
"W-What?..." Yoongi blinks, not processing quickly enough.
"Yoongi! Snap out of it! Your summin needs you."
His summin. His summin is alone and in danger! If something happens to Jimin, Yoongi doesn't know what he'll do. He knows he can't go back to living without him. That isn't an option. If Jimin dies then Yoongi will never feed again, not fully. He is sure about that. Jimin dying is not an option.
He rings Jungkook, hands shaking. He hears Tae giving Namjoon an address over the phone.
"I'm still mad at you. Jimin's crying on the phone to me pretty much every night because of you, you know?."
"I-I... Jimin..." The fragment curses his stupid mouth for not working when he needs it to. Your summin needs you, get a grip. "Jimin's in trouble. I don't know the details but he had a meeting with his boss and someone from DMBI today. Tae got a ghost to follow him because I had a feeling that... Fuck! I shouldn't have let him go to that fucking meeting!.." There's a pause and Yoongi hears a short profanity through the speaker.
