Chapter 10

(2 months later)

I am now 4 month pregnant, my baby bump was showing. Everyone in the school knew I was pregnant but I didn't care. I honestly been living life since that fight Ryder and I had. I still hang with Noah and Cody. I'm not hanging with Ethan because of the events that occured between us which caused my relationship with Ryder to end.

Cody and Noah have been really helpful during my pregnancy. I'm glad that I have them as friends. I heard someone ringing my doorbell. I opened it and got a surprise. It was Ryder. The same Ryder that hasn't been speaking to me in 2 months. I asked, rudely "What are you doing here?" He smiled and asked "Can I come in?" I stepped in front of him and said "Why so you can start another fight? No you can't because I don't let dicks in my house." He sighed and said "Skye, I'm extremely sorry and I overreacted to the situation. We should of talked in out instead of getting into an argument." I nodded my head because I actually agree with him. He asked "Can we be friends?" I smiled and asked "Can we be more than friends?" His smile disappeared as soon as I asked that question. He said "The timing isn't great and I met someone else while I was in New York." After he said that, my heart was shattered into a million pieces. I nodded my head and said "Sure let's be friends." He smiled and walked off my porch.

I shut the door and slid down it. Tears kept streaming down my face. I couldn't feel a single thing at this point in my life. Everything in this dumb ass fucking world seemed pointless. I couldn't take this life anymore. But if I die than the baby dies. I couldn't do that, i'm not that heartless. But being heartbroken by Ryder Daniel made my heart shattered and probably unable to love ever again.

We have been through so much together, the second we break up he goes off with some slut who is probably not worth his time. My phone kept buzzing but I ignored it because I just wanted to be alone right now. I laid in bed, staring at a wall. I couldn't get him off of my mind. All the memories came back. I honestly believed at the time that he was the love of my life. But I guess people don't change. If people did change than he would be with me right now, but he's not.

(6 days later)

I finally decided to get up from my bed, and go to school. My only worry was that Ryder would have me meet his whore. I got dressed, I wore ripped jeans with a black tank top and a small mini jacket. I grabbed my bag and my phone. Cody was driving me to school today. I waited for him for a couple of minutes. I saw Cody's car pull up and he honked the horn.

I got in the car and Cody drove off. I looked out the window the entire time. We finally arrived at the school and everyone was surrounding our parking spot. I started to get popular by being friends with Noah and Cody. They are the popular guys of the school. We walked into the school, Cody put his arm around my shoulder like always. Everyone thought we were dating or something but I told them that nothing is happening between us. It may look like it but nothing it going on.

(Later that Day)

It was finally lunch time. Cody and I walked into the cafeteria. He asked "You want anything?" I smiled and batted my eyes to convince him. I said "A cupcake please." He smiled and nodded. I sat at the table with Ethan and Noah. We all just talked. I felt hands going on my waist. I turned around and saw that it wasn't Cody, it was Ryder. I smiled and said "Ryder, we are not dating anymore you can't be touching me like that anymore." He understood what I meant. Cody walked up and said "Here you go my lady." I smiled and thanked him as he handed me my chocolate cupcake with white frosting.

Ryder looked at us like we were doing something wrong. He asked "Are you two dating?" I rolled my eyes and said "No we are not." He nodded his head. A girl walked up to him and kissed him.

Shattered.

That's how I felt. I loved him but I guess that he doesn't love me anymore. Cody saw the look on my face. He understood how I felt, he was a real friend. He was someone I was able to count on when I need him the most. Ryder said "Guys, this is Brook Jones." I nodded my head and said "Nice to meet you, I'm Skye Thompson." She gave me a weird look and asked "Skye, the girl who cheated on my sweet innocent Ryder Daniel." Apparently he is playing a role that he' not meant to be playing. I smiled and said "Oh Honey, your Ryder is not innocent. I'm pregnant with his baby. He knocked me up." The face she made proved to me that she didn't know that. I hope I ruined their relationships.

I want to have his heart shattered like mine is.
