'Sometimes, words just weren't enough anymore. They needed to touch, to feel, to make sure it's there. That this moment was real and not another fantasy.'
***************
It was a Tuesday when Forth had decided that he will take out the laundry to the laundry shop a bit earlier this week because he and Beam would be spending the weekend at his home. Forth had a habit of segregating the laundry before taking it out, he was fussy like that. Well, both he and Beam had no classes in the afternoon so they decided to stay at Beam's dorm room (where he practically lives. Honestly, with this level of domesticity it felt like they were married already.)
"What are you doing?' Beam's hoarse voice filled his ears as the male was stirred awake when he knocked over a stack of books stacked on top of a mini table.
"Oh sorry. Did i woke you up?" Forth made a face a he turned to him, sounding a bit guilty.
"Mmkay." Beam aimlessly walked to the bathroom with Forth's searching gaze following him.
Sigh.
I wonder what's wrong this time.
***************
Beam was restless.
He hoped it would go away if he took a nap but when he woke up, he still felt heavy. I sleep tired and i wake up tired. What's new?
Sigh.
He was awoken by thud of books hitting the floor.
"Oh sorry. Did i woke you up?" Forth looked at him with that worried expression and he aimlessly walked towards the bathroom. He didn't want to be subjected to his searching gaze right now. No. Not yet.
He locked the door to be alone to his thoughts for now.
Beam was drowning from his thoughts when he snapped out of hi reverie as Forth knocked on the door.
"Beam? Is everything okay?" comes a muffled voice from the other side of the door.
Sigh.
"Beam? You've been there for almost an hour..are you okay?" Forth sounded really worried.
He washed his face to gather up his thoughts and looked at himself at the mirror to compose himself before he unlocked the door.
"What's wrong?" Forth sounded very worried and unsettled and Beam felt like an idiot for behaving this way. But he can't take it out of his mind.
Beam crashed on to him on a tight hug which startled Forth for a moment but hugged him back with equal force and they stayed like that for over three minutes until Forth asked again.
"Is everything okay? You know you can tell me anything, right?"
Beam nodded against his shoulder before he let go and gave Forth a soft kiss on the lips. Beam no longer gets bashful whenever he is the one who initiates romantic gestures, one which Forth now has gotten used to. "Later. I'll tell you later. Okay?"
Forth's worried stare loosened up a bit and nodded. "Okay."
"Let's go down to the laundry shop and eat after we take it there. I'm hungry." Beam walks over to the bed successfully getting Forth into thinking that whatever he was bothered about was not a serious case. Or so he thought.
Forth, who by now gets Beam's mood pushed the worries into the back of his mind for later.
Beam grabbed a sweatshirt neatly folded on the bed and Forth looked at him with furrowed brows, the issue of Beam's troubles momentarily forgotten.
