I grab my jacket along with my phone as I walk out of my room, my feet clad in my worn out converse sneakers I've had for years. Once I pulled on my jacket, I put my phone in the pocket of the comfortable sweat pants I wore. I rush down the stairs and stop in my tracks as I look over to see Kendall standing in the doorway of the living area. She had a smile on her lips as she looks back at me.
"Have fun with him, love, I want all the details tomorrow," she mutters with a smile.
"Tomorrow, Kenny, promise," I reply back with a small smile as I walk to the door. In my grasp was my spare key for the house.
"You better,"
I unbolt the door and pull it open before I walk out onto the porch. I smile and shake my head a bit as I laugh at my best friend.
"I already promised I would, bye," I tell her and roll my eyes as I shut the door behind me not bothering to lock it since Kendall was home. She was old enough to lock it herself.
I am soon making my way down the street to where I was headed. I was glad Harry's place wasn't too far away and that it was just down the street. My eyes stayed on the pavement in front of me as I walked. The sky was slowly turning dark and a bit chilly. I was thankful the streets were lit up so I wasn't walking in total darkness, yet, that is.
Next time I glance up, I realize I was standing in front of Harry's house. I let out a sigh as I begin to walk up the stairs that led up to the door. I have no idea why I was so nervous, I mean, I've been here once before a few nights ago. Maybe the fact I was nervous is because it was only going to be the two of us tonight. I shake the thoughts from my mind as I begin to head up to his door.
After I walk up the three steps to the porch, I make my way to the door. I knock a few times and press the button for the doorbell once. While I wait, I take a step back and pull the jacket I wore tighter around my body, the wind sending a chill up my spine. My hands were stuffed in the pockets of my jacket to get them warmed up a bit.
A few minutes later, the door opens. Harry stood there, curls a mess on top of his head, a white v-neck shirt that made his tattoos more visible under his shirt and some comfy looking pants. A lazy smile appears on his face as he looks at me.
"Hey Sidney! Come on in, love, don't want you to freeze," he says with a chuckle and motions for me to come forward.
"Hey Harry. Thanks," I mutter with a small smile. As I step inside the warm house, he pulls the door open a bit wider so I could walk in. He slams the door shut once I walked inside.
"No problem, babe," he replies with a smile.
"Do I always wake you from your naps or something? Seems like so," I reply with a light chuckle.
"I don't mind, really," he smiles in reply.
"Here, love, I'll uh, take your coat," he looks at me before pointing at the coat rack next to the door. I stare at him a few minutes, my eyes firmly locked on his biceps as he straightens out his wrinkled shirt he wore. He was very fit I had to admit. I take a slow breath in as I look at him.
I break out of my trance a few minutes later. I begin to tamper with the zipper on my jacket that was stuck before I finally manage to unzip it fully. I pull it off my small body and hand it over to Harry. As my bare arms are exposed to the cool air circulating in the room, I shiver a bit. "Uh, sorry 'bout that," I mutter softly, hoping he wouldn't realize I was staring. He obviously did, I could tell by how he was looking back at me, a small hint of a smirk on his lips.
"It's quite alright, love," he smirks as I notice his eyes trail from my upper body and made his way down. I straighten my loose sleeveless tank top much as I could, thankful for my strapless bandeau style bra I wore underneath it. My bare sides were exposed but covered enough thanks to the bandeau bra I wore.
