What the Fuck~Chapter 10

Y/n's POV

Karen shook her head rather quickly making sure I noticed, I cocked my head to the side and she looked at me. "I don't want you to get hurt, it's alright anyways. My guardian Angel will help me. I didn't really believe in that kind of stuff, stuff like that was to just help you sleep better at night. I smiled at her and responded swiftly. "I won't get hurt darlin, the kid is just nine." She shrugged her shoulders and I could tell she was in deep thought but then she just shook her head.

"Even if I wanted to show you, I don't know where he lives." I frowned at that since I really wanted to help her, no one should be hit in the head on purpose. I was bullied when I was around her age just for how I was and I had no one to help me so I didn't like the fact that she was imagining characters up in her head for safety. "Okay how about this hun, I go to school with you." Her smile grew as I said that and she about jumped up off her couch and cheered. I smiled at her as her smile became huge. "Really?! You mean it!" The joy in her eyes made me nod quickly. I wanted to help this sweet innocent girl, she reminds a little bit as when I was young.

She jumped off her couch and ran upstairs as fast as her little feet could go. I chuckled softly and grabbed my phone out before she came back down. Upon looking at my phone I said two notifications. One from Anna and the other one made my heart stop. Why the hell would he be texting me?!

I clicked answers message first and looked at the words she wrote.

Anna: "Dude, thanks for taking me home and leaving my car keys with me. Last night was fun."

Y/n: "You are an idiot for getting that drunk. I was shocked that Kyle got that drunk as well normally he was the responsible type."

I clicked send as I then clicked the next message from Zack, My heart was pounding, my eyes were glued to the screen as I read the message. Just what the fuck.

Zack: "Y/n, I have something to talk to you at school today."

I checked when he sent it and it shows it was sent yesterday. I guess I never noticed it, I sighed and thought of a reply quickly. I won't be getting to school until a little later so he'll have to wait.

Y/n: "I won't be at school until later so you'll just have to wait."

I tried writing it with as much hate as I could but I failed miserably. I breathed out a breath that I didn't even know I was holding in. My mind was all over the place and I just couldn't even begin to comprehend what I was gonna do today with Zack. As my thoughts over took my brain I didn't notice a hand on my shoulder till they gave me a strong squeeze. "You okay?" Kenny was standing behind me with worried eyes, I nodded to him even though I wasn't I was to worried about what was gonna happen between Zack and I.

"Are you sure you don't want me to drive you to school?" I nodded and grabbed my bag while Karen did the same. "Why are you even going with Karen?" Kenny questioned and I thought of an excuse quickly, "Well, I wanna redo her hair before she begins school duh." I smacked Kenny playfully on the head just to emphasize what I was saying. He had a small smile come to his face but then it disappeared and he nodded.

Since Kenny dropped us off first I walked with Karen to inside the building. My eyes scanned the area, there were a good amount of kids around the area all talking and laughing. I continued to walk with Karen and I slammed on my breaks as she hugged a girl with blonde hair. "Ruby!" I tilted my head to the girl and she looked back at me and casually flipped me off. My eyes dared the girl to do it again since she seemed just like that asshole of a guy named Craig since he does exactly what he does.

Karen and Ruby talked and I just leaned against the wall watching their conversation. Karen eyes widened and she pointed at a kid who was a grade or two above her. He was talking with some other of his friends and you could tell they were trouble makers. I smiled at her and grabbed her hand pulling her with me. I walked right up to the kid and he just stared back. Karen whispered into my ear and I just smiled a what she said which was, "Be careful, his brother might be around." I laughed softly and turned back to the guy with my hand extended, he looked at me wryly and I just kept a calm face on.
