A/n HeHe unlucky number with an unlucky fate?
Stan's POV
My eyes widened as I heard the impact of the ball. Clyde idiotically threw the ball while he was distracting by Bebe, I tried to race and catch the ball but in the end the ball hit into someone. My eyes turned to see who the unlucky person is and when my eyes made contact with them my heart dropped. "Y/n!" I yelled out and ran all the way to her, she was walking with Kyle and she was the one who got hit in the face with the ball.
I watched Y/n blink a couple times her face in utter disbelief. "Are you okay!?" I asked frantically, by now all the guys even Clyde had surrounded Y/n, Kyle and I. The ball hit her right in the nose and when it started to drip blood my eyes widened. "We need to get you to the nurses office" Without thinking I grabbed her hand and started pulling her, my eyes glanced back to her and she was holding her nose with her other hand and looked carefully at the blood that still dripped down. My heart started to hurt as I saw her pained expression, but why?
Y/n's POV
I continued to let Stan drag me to the nurses office since I didn't know where it was and I needed the help, plus the bleeding wasn't stopping. I can't believe somebody miss threw the ball and hit me in the nose, are you serious that was such a sucky throw even I could have made a better one. I scoffed at the thought and that earned a looked from Stan. "Who the hell would throw something like that, it was so off." I mumbled loud enough for Stan to hear me, he chuckled and shrugged. "Someone who got distracted by a girl." I rolled my eyes at that.
Once arriving to the nurses office Stan set me down on the table and started to go through some cabinets. Zack would never do this for me since the Coach always yelled at him and wouldn't let anyone walk so casually towards the bleachers. Guess I know why not but still, Zack wouldn't be skipping practice to help even though he would really want to.
"Stan, you can go." I muttered out, I wouldn't want him getting in trouble because of a stupid nose bleed and an idiot hitting me with the damn ball. "No!" Stan protested, he finally opened up a cabinet and grabbed our some tissues. I sighed, it doesn't hurt that bad not as bad as some other hits. Stan moved closer to me making my eyes widen a little, I backed away causing him to cock an eyebrow. "Stay still." Stan reached over again yet I still backed up. I don't know why but it just felt weird, he had a girlfriend he shouldn't be helping me with this. "I can do it myself." I stared into his blue eyes that seemed to glisten every time he blinked his eyes. "Just let me do it." Stan tried to reach me again but this time I grabbed the tissues from him. I stuck my tongue out at him and just smirked as I put the tissues to my nose carefully.
The bleeding continued as Stan watched me, I shifted under his gaze. "It's not stopping let me help." I finally gave up and let Stan reached over, he grabbed my chin and tilted my head up, I faced the ceiling looking at the small cracks. "Stan, I-" I cut myself off as Stan's faced turned a dark red color. I tilted my head at him in question making him release the tissue. The bleeding ceased and Stan was already out of the room. "Stan!" I called after him but he didn't respond, he just quickly was out the room.
I stood from my spot and ran out the room, by the time I got out the door Stan was all the way down the hall and took a sharp turn which was away from the field. That was strange. I brought my hand to my nose thinking about his touch even if a tissue was between us.
Stan's POV
I ran out as fast as I could, I was feeling sick and the feeling wouldn't shake. I raced down the hall to the guys bathroom but before I made it I ran into Wendy, she was blushing darkly making me question whats going on. I still felt like throwing up and I hoped it wasn't that specific reason. I stared at Wendy who didn't notice I was there. "Wendy?" I questioned making her head shoot up to mine. "S-Stan!" She stuttered out in a frenzy, I tilted my head to her in confusion but before I could say anything else I threw up on here.
I flushed a dark red as Wendy let out an ew. "Ew Stan!" She screamed as she took a step away from me. "S-Stan, you do still love me!" A slight look of guilt crossed her eyes but it was gone as soon as it came and I thought I'd imagined it. "Wendy, you thought I didn't love you?" I questioned with slight hurt eyes. I love Wendy. "I-Well, you just didn't show it like you use to." Wendy muttered, her head was down and I sighed. "Wendy I love you." Wendy's eyes glossed over and before I knew it she ran out of the place crying. I turned towards her fleeing crying form.
I felt a ping of guilt hit me, I hope I'm just coming down with the flu, I muttered.
Y/n's POV
After that little incident with Stan I walked out of the school and back to the football field. A guy came running up to me and I realized it was Clyde. "I'm so sorry Y/n!" He cried out in panic, I chuckled at his responses and put my hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry about it, I'm quite alright hun." Clyde's expression lite up as I said that making me smile even more. I turned away from Clyde and walked back over to my friends. "Are you okay!?" Kyle asked in a worried lace tone. I smiled at him and nodded. "I am quite alright." Kyle nodded in joy but I watched as he turned around and glared at Clyde making me chuckle even more.
"Is Stan back? He ran out of the nurses office quickly so I didn't get to thank him." I looked around the football guys but no sight of Stan though I did catch Wendy and Bebe off on the side, Wendy's eyes were glossed over with her eyes a little puffy. I tilted my head a little, what could have made her cry like that?
My thoughts were ripped out as I felt a hand on mine. I looked to the hand and all the way to the face, which was Kenny. Kenny Smirked at me and I laughed. "Follow me." I stared at Kenny confused but he ignored me and pulled me away from the football field in secret, I followed him all the way inside the school and up some stairs and when we entered the roof it was beautiful. I leaned over the edge and stared at the football field from above. You could see everything. I couldn't wipe a smile off my face as I stared at the view. "Y/n. . . " Kenny muttered making my eyes look to his sky blue ones, "I-" Kenny stared but before he finished he released my hand and slipped.
My breathing hitched, as I watched Kenny start to fall with wide eyes and a weak smile to me. I reached out in instinct and tried to come in contact with his hand yet missed. But what scared me more was what Kenny mouthed something as he plummeted to his death. "I'll be back my dear."
