Y/n's POV
I trotted down the stairs looking behind me to see Stan going at a slower pace. I chuckled softly and proceeded into the kitchen. "Hello Kyle, What you got for us?" I took a seat at his square table and leaned against it with my head on my arms looking sideways to him. Stan came in glanced at Kyle then looked right at me, I loved his blue eyes. They were pretty, but I'd never tell him that of course. "What time is it?" I peered at Stan's phone in his front pocket and he quickly pulled it out holding the phone to me. "7:20. . . ." Normally I'd be home by now, hearing my dad and mom fighting, not being able to escape it, sometimes being hit. It brought back bad memories, but now they're all gone. There's no more, I'm the only one left.
I turned my head away from the phone and into my arms so no one could see me and I could not see anyone. "Y/n, you alright?" I shook my head up and down into my arm but not all the way up so they would see me. "Stan, I'm gonna step out for a moment." I didn't hear Stan reply and I didn't want to look up and see any of the two, all I heard were footsteps then it became silent as a door opened and shut. "Y/n, please look up." I didn't respond and continued to look down at my arm, I needed to call some people like Anna or no one else. . . Zack knows already, Anna knows but I can't talk to her about anything else, I don't know what else anymore.
Within a few moments Stan's hand had reached mine causing my thoughts to disappear and I briskly looked up. "Y/n, It'll all be alright." I nodded slowly as I started to feel like crying, "S-Stan, what am I gonna do?" my body began to shake and a few sobs broke through the silence that followed. Stan stayed quiet just holding me lightly, his grip was warm and very protective, I felt safe in his arms. "Oh, did I interrupt something?" Stan broke away from me quickly and straightened himself out, "No." I smiled at Kyle softly causing his eyes to widen, likely from my eyes. They were likely bright red.
"I have a question Y/n," not even asking about my eyes or why we were close which I was thankful for. I nodded in acknowledgement as Kyle took a seat at the table with Stan and I. "Y/n do you want to stay here? I just talked to my mom and she said she'd be happy to adopt you because when you were younger she loved you like her own kids." My eyes widened as I heard that, "So you would be a brother to me?" I smiled softly at that, Kyle was always nice to me when we were little. "I would love that." I smiled though I still hurt from the lost of my family within just a year but now I also got a new family, a better one I would hope. . . But it also means that I might lose everyone from North Park. Can I do that?
"Can I go out for a walk?" I looked away from them both and out the window of his kitchen or our kitchen, I looked back at them and Kyle had nodded but Stan still stood there. I didn't want to wait for him so I just stood from the stair and started walked towards the door. I swung it open to face Kenny with Cartman standing there as well. "What is it?" I questioned cocking my head to the side a little like I do at times. Cartman just pushed past me rudely with answering and Kenny still stood there. I mumbled softly under my breath as Cartman was a little bit further away. "Asshole." Kenny started to crack up laughing making me jump and stare at him. "What?" I asked quickly and partly annoyed, "I'm sorry, priceless. Where you going?" I pointed outside and Kenny looked behind him. "Outside? Can I come?" I rolled my eyes and pushed past him walking down the stairs.
"You're already out so why not." I heard Kenny's footsteps hit the ground as they tried to catch up to me and soon out footsteps came in sync and silent. "So why were you and Kyle's so long?" I sighed running my hand through my hair quickly. "I'm gonna be his like sister in a way, I'm staying there." Kenny's footsteps soon stopped and I turned around to see his eyes wide. "So you're no longer a North park girl?" I laughed at him and nodded. "Yup, I'm a South Park girl but not a bitchy one at that, I'm not like Wendy." I smiled as Kenny broke out into laughter and catching up with me. "Hey Kenny, question. What should I do with Stan?" Kenny glanced at me and I could feel his stare, "What do you mean?" I took in a deep breath and blew it out crossing my arms as I walked out of being nervous.
"I think I like Stan." I looked over to Kenny then who looked a little down, I was gonna reach out to him but stopped when he started talking. "I think you should ask him out, date him. Especially since you're staying here now." I pulled back my hand as Kenny was looking down but I must have imagined it because when he looked back up he was smiling. "Stan likes you the same way." I couldn't help but smile then and I jumped on him and gave him a huge hug. "Thank you Kenny!" I yelled loudly, "You're the best." I hugged him one last time then turned around and started heading back to Kyl- Our house. I didn't hear Kenny behind me this time and when I turned around he was gone, I couldn't quite wrap my head around it, I'll have to ask him later about it.
Once I got to the house I opened the door in a hurry to see Stan, Kyle and Cartman in the living room watching the TV. "Stan, I need to talk to you." Stan glanced at me for a moment then looked at Kyle and Cartman as in to leave. I waited until both were gone and once they went upstairs I leaned on the couch and stared at him. "Stan, I talked to Kenny and-" Stan cut my off suddenly with him jumping up and looking at me wide eyes. "Okay anyways. . . Stan, I have a question. . . . I talked to him and he suggested it so will you date me Stan?" I hesitantly spoke staring at him, you could see his eyes widen even more and a small smile making its way to his face. Stan nodded as his face started to turn green, I cocked my head and immediately understood why. Stan threw up all over me again. I looked down to my new clothes which was covered in puke again. "Thanks Stan," I glanced up smiling and Stan looked away his face red showing he was embarrassed. I laughed and pulled him close. "If I'm gonna smell like this again it's only fair if you do too." I pulled him closer and squeezed him tightly rubbing all of that all over him smiling as I did that, and what I didn't know was that Stan was smiling and hugged me back a little later.
And after that day and for the rest of the time, I was happy, I didn't get down as much, I still cared about my parents but I stopped being sad about it and worrying, I had a new family, new friends, and a new boyfriend. I never talked to Zack after that and Anna and I broke apart after I officially moved in with Kyle. I never knew that so much could happen in such short time, either for better or for worse. . . . I lost people I never thought I would and gained ones I never thought I could. This was the ending but beginning of a new part of my life. With Stan now.
