Chapter 27: A pool tradition

I found myself waiting for Hailey to come downstairs ready to go to the pool. Everyone was already in the backyard waiting for both of us to begin the "tradition" or as they call it. The tradition was like a pool party after sunset and on midnight everyone would jump in the pool at the same time to begin all the water games and such. The "pool tradition" is more like a water field day but it's a tradition they have been doing since they were like 7 I think. I find it quite amazing that they continue traditions and such. My thoughts go straight to when I took her to the top floor of the Sears Tower.

I don't know if she completely realizes it but that place is more than special for me. It's indeed a part of me that's really reserved. It's something that I've only shared with my family and my brother. Where me and Zach made the promise that if we're taking a girl here, it's because they're really special and important. Ever since me and Hailey got really close that week on isolation, I've never stopped thinking of sharing this part of me. I just knew in every embrace we had, every deep conversation we had, every moment that I just had to take her there. Just as we were looking at the view of the city and as I looked at her sky blue eyes, I've come to realize that I'm officially falling deep for her. Let the deep feelings begin and there's no turning back now.

"I'm ready" Hailey said as she came down the stairs

"Took you long enough" I laughed as I put my arm around her shoulder

"Well, sorry for getting distracted by hearing awesome music" she laughed and we finally go to the backyard to see a huge infinity pool that even has those seats that have a table.

Jessica and Aiden are on the other side cooking in the barbecue. I can't help but notice how in love they both look together. They aren't cooking on the barbecue, but instead they are having a food fight by throwing lettuce and cheese but in the end of it, Aiden carried Jessica bridal style and spun her around. They were both laughing and when Aiden put Jessica down, they started kissing passionately. They both look like a perfect couple together. They complete each other, literally. Jessica has wavy light brown hair with green eyes while Aiden has brown hair like Cameron but with hazel eyes, quite different from the triplets yet quite alike.

"Earth to Bryce" Hailey laughed while waving a hand in front of my face

"Earth to Princess" I mockingly waved my hand on her face while walking to the sun beds close to the pool

"Come on you guys! We don't have all day" Alec said

"Can you guys save all the romantic mush for later?" Cameron and Zach asked at the same time while high-fiving each other

"Oh, shut up" Hailey said before walking towards them which they were on another sun bed

"Anyone up for a game of twenty questions?" Tyler asked

"Yeah" We all said at the same time

"Okay, so I'm going to ask the first question, answer it and then everyone answers it; then the bext person asks and so on. Let's see how much in common we can have" Tyler said and then we all went to an area where there were sofas and we were all facing each other like a circle.
