Chapter 32: The uncovered truth

Hailey

There's something I haven't told anyone directly if the question should be asked. The only people who know of this are my parents, my brother, Bethany and Cole. Bethany and Cole shouldn't have known of this but they did because they saw the event in front of them last summer. I've been asked the question a couple of times, but I always avoided it because even I didn't know the answers myself and it hurt me in a way of not having those answers. All I had of it was the memory and how much it affected me that night. What happened exactly during last summer? It was back on the day I went on my trip to Orlando with Cole and Bethany, or more specifically the first night.

"Let's just go" Cole said and we all were on our way to the first night of our trip. His parents drove us all the way to Downtown Disney and we got out of the car feeling more excited than ever

"We'll be eating at one of the restaurants if you need anything" his mom said and we all nodded in response before walking along Downtown Disney

"So, what now?" Bethany asked curiously and I shrugged my shoulders while Cole smirked at us. What is he up to?

"I heard there's a party going on in Downtown Disney tonight" Cole said while making his grin wider

"Where?" Bethany and I asked at the same time

"There's a lounge around five minutes away from here and it's already starting so we should go" Cole said and started to drag us quickly before we saw many people entering the lounge

We made it to where the party was quickly and it wasn't an ordinary party, it was a glow in the dark party. This meant that all we saw around us when we entered the party were neon colors. They gave us glowsticks quickly and I wrapped mine around my head. Cole dragged Bethany and me towards the dance floor, and we started to dance along the blaring music.

The triplets made it to the party a few minutes after, which surprised me because I thought they were arriving tomorrow for the trip. I guess they made it earlier than I thought. There were many people in the party, but we were able to dance easily because we were gathered like a mini crowd. I was having such a good time with all of them because it was a great way to start summer. I was grateful that I didn't have to worry about anything and I mean like being involved on a bet of who would be my first kiss. It wasn't so long ago that that had occured but it still seems as if it was yesterday. All I remembered from that was how hurt I felt when I found out. I just couldn't believe people were capable of doing things like that. The good thing was that I was able to stop that from happening before the event at hand.

I didn't notice that I was on deep thought until I noticed that I wasn't dancing with Cole, Bethany or the triplets. I was by myself in the middle of the dance floor dancing with other people. I noticed that all of the boys had sunglasses while the girls had a glowstick around their heads. I guess Cole and the triplets had known of this because they had been wearing sunglasses while we were dancing a little while ago. I decided to just go along with the music and set myself free by dancing nonstop.
