I don't own Kantai Collection or any of its characters. I don't own any warships either, just so we're clear. I only own my OCs and their history, I guess. Still don't own any art. Nothing more, nothing less. That picture is obviously not mine.

I wasn't so sure when Arizona went off, answering the call for our country. I had done my part, serving my country with my boys at my side. They made me what I was to my country, and I treated them with care and respect, even if they couldn't do the same. Arizona had gone down at Pearl, and I thought the battleship had served her part well, as a moral booster for all the others who weren't at or survived Pearl. When I went down, I thought I was going to able to rest, to leave it to the hands of Enterprise and the other girls. I thought that I had been scuttled in glory, seeing as I didn't dare want to fall into the Japanese's clutches.

When Langley decided to answer for the two arguing sisters, I reluctantly thought of the situation when I would be forced to decide to answer. Taffy 3 would possibly answer if the whole nation was calling, seeing as they went down in the great heat of battle, while my younger sister, well, I didn't know about her. According to her, my sister was bombed by the USA by nuclear testing, and I actually had yet to believe it. They were all considering the choice.

That's when we saw the planes again. I had caught wind of them when seven other ships passed over the surface, going into the harbor, guns firing off. I hadn't seen what they were firing at, but I knew what those planes were. Zeroes.

Japanese Zeroes.

I didn't see Arizona fire anything toward them, and I certainly didn't see Langley launch her planes. So I decided to assumed the worst. I assumed the Japanese had come back for them, and I assumed they needed her help.

And that's how I got here.

The carrier crossed her arms, her long blue hair flying in the wind as she stared at the captain who ordered her to cease fire. She didn't expect a girl this young to become one, but she was, and she held the same authority as a captain anyway. Her eyes couldn't help but glare toward the twin-tailed carrier near them, her arms crossed as well, with her zeroes out of the air. She remembered her well, seeing as she took part in her sinking.

Her gaze drifted back to the captain to sighed slightly as she relaxed her shoulders. "Jeez. If you went after Zuikaku's planes like that, then I'm going to guess you have history with her..." She muttered, causing the both of them to look toward her. The blue haired woman was slightly surprised at the confidence the girl was showing, despite being the youngest one here in age, not appearance. "Could I-?"

"No, no, no! That's not how you do it, desu!" Kongo suddenly exclaimed, causing everyone to turn toward her as she stepped in front of the captain. The woman's gaze seemed to narrow before she held out her hand. "I'm Kongo, desu! It's nice to meet another ship girl-"

"Okay, that's enough Kongo." Arizona insisted as she pulled the battlecruiser away from the carrier. Though since the battleship had a smaller frame than Kongo, she had to pull her by the back of her shirt. The captain sighed and returned her gaze to the carrier who looked slightly shocked to say the least. "Sorry about Kongo... Could I get a name?"

They noticed how she paused before sighing again. "From either of you?"

Arizona face palmed and tilted her hat down before Langley stepped forward. Kaga noticed how the carrier frowned, a serious gaze painted over her face. "Langley-san?"

Langley shook her head, causing the carrier to look to the side slightly. "Lexington. What happened to the level-headed attitude you showed in your early days? Has your younger sister's grudges caught up to you?" She asked the other carrier who sighed.
