Prompt: You and Steve had created a strong bond of the years, and become romantically involved. You were a force to be reckoned with, until Tony hosts a party and everything gets out of hand. One Drunken mistake concludes with a frustrated Steve and a lost (Y/n).

Steve's ax was brought down with full force as his wooden log broke in half and he placed it in the lumber pile. Tony stood a little ways away with his less impressive pile of lumber, as he stopped for a moment to take in his scenery. Clint Barton's farm house was a mystery to his team members up until this point, when they truly need a sanctuary away from civilization.
The Avengers had become public enemy number one after the stunt that occurred in Wakanda, killing T'Challa's father during a bombing that the public assumed the Avengers had something to do with. After which, the team was forced into hiding to recuperate and assess the situation.
Steve had been having an especially hard time during this event, because on top of being blamed for a tragic event that was not to be blamed on him and his team, he had lost his best friend and girlfriend in the same time frame. Bucky had been in hiding for a few months, attempting to detox from the brainwash he had been put through at HYDRA, along with figuring out his true identity. Unfortunately, HYDRA had gotten ahold of him before the team could find him, and he was now under their mind control once again. As far as the (Y/N) situation...well, that was an event all in itself.
(Y/N) and Steve had be together for a few years and had grown close with every mission, but during one of Tony's parties to celebrate one of the many victories they had, Sharon - an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. who had become infatuated with Steve - had gotten drunk and threw herself onto Steve. She drunkenly confessed her feelings for him and latched onto him for a kiss. Unfortunately for Steve, (Y/N) had see the scene go down and ran out before she could see Steve push Sharon away. Due to his super-soldier serum, Steve is unable to get drunk, so instead of having to wake up the next morning to an empty bed with a hangover to find out something was wrong, he found out that night when (Y/n) never came to bed. Steve beat himself up over the situation for weeks on end, and he never stopped looking for (Y/n), but the rest of the team weren't so nice; Tony being the worst, considering you are his younger sister.
As far as the team new, Steve was willingly kissing Sharon back and was the reason they had lost one of their best team mate and best friend. Tony had to make his smart remarks once in a while, along with Natasha and Clint. Steve seemed to shrug off the comments or refuse to acknowledge them, but he was secretly devastated about the situation and would get angry towards his team mates with every comment.
Steve brought his ax down with sheer force as imagines of you popped in his head, along with all the memories you two shared. Tony stopped swinging his ax and took a quick break as his attention diverted to Steve, taking in his facial expression and the force he's using to cut the wooden log in half. Steve picked up another wooden log to sit down and cut, but continued to hold it when his attention was diverted to a grinning Tony, "What?" Steve asked.
"I was just thinking...We probably wouldn't have to be in hiding if (Y/n) were still here on the team." He said, a smirk growing on his face.
"Yea?" Steve asked in a monotone voice.
"Yup. She was one of the best on the field and I'm sure she would have kept Bucky from Bombing King T'Challa's ceremony." This comment killed two birds with one stone, in Tony's mind. Steve ripped the long in half with ease and rage. Clint was out on the porch of his house with some of the others, and their attention diverted to the angry Captain. Steve wanted to say something; he really did, but he felt nothing he would say would get through to Tony. Steve's eyes began to water as frustration and heartache filled his system. Before he could stop himself, his fist went flying and he punched Tony with everything he had. Tony ended up on the ground as the team rushed over to his aid.
