Unknown's POV

Hearing a dragon's roar awakened me with a start. Opening my eyes slowly I took in my surroundings. I was still in the same cave that I had fell asleep in so many years ago. Covered in dust and debris I slowly stood up and shook myself off and spread my powerful wings giving them a good stretch. Breathing in deeply trying to catch the scent of the dragon that had awakened me it was faint but it was there. Walking out of the cave I let out a deafening roar letting everyone know of my presence. Stretching out my powerful black wings I take to the sky. "I must find this dragon and make her mine," I thought evilly. Breathing in deeply into my fire lungs I releases a jet of fire from my mouth setting the jungle on fire. Breathing deeply I began flying in an easterly direction following this female dragon's scent though faint I could sense it.

Damon's POV

I didn't know what to do with Chi-chi out in the open like this it scared me so bad that I linked Colt. " Colt my friend I marked Chi-chi my mate and now she's unconscious in the clearing and I don't know what to do. Please help us." he begged which he would never do but he was desperate at this point.

When Colt arrived he didn't seem surprised about Chi-chi being a dragon. Walking straight up to her he cleaned an area on her shoulder then gently inserted a needle pushing the liquid in then pulling it back out. Turning to me he said, "Alpha she will be waking up soon have her shift back then feed her and let her rest. Her shifting and then being marked was to much for her." With that he picked up his medical bag and walked back towards the pack house.

Turning around I was greeted by a toothy grin as my sleepy eyed mate looks at me. "Oh man I'm so sorry about marking you Chi-chi it was to much for you and I'm truly sorry." he said quietly and completely broken.

Then I felt her wet tongue run across my cheek and I knew that she had forgiven us. Looking up at her I smiled a soft smile, "Dr. Colt says you need to rest but you need to shift back into your human form. It's not really safe for you out here in the open." He said solemnly.

Chi-chi's POV

Waking up I could see and feel how upset my mate was about what happened to me. When he told me that I needed to shift back I didn't even give it a second thought as I let the magic take over and shifted into my human form. Stumbling around I felt a set of strong arms wrap around me as he caught me before I hit the ground. Picking me up bridal style he began running with me towards the pack house. Not even bothering to go through the front door he leapt unto a balcony and slide the window open.

When we entered the room I realized were we were as it smelt like him. Smiling gently as he set me down onto his soft bed. The blanket was a coal black as his sheets and pillows were blood red and super soft. Damon sat down beside me and gently pushed a stray hair from my face.

"How would you like a nice warm bath and some food before we rest for the evening?" he asked gently.

"That would be nice Damon," I said. Nodding he stands up and walks over to his bathroom stark naked if you remember. Were I hear him start a bath coming back into the bedroom he picks me up again and carries me into a luxurious bathroom. The bathroom was filled with the scent of honey and jasmine. He steps into the bathtub and sits down in the warm bath the water surrounds both of us immediately. Filling a luffa sponge with soap he begins washing me from head to toe. We finished up without a word and got out of the bath.

"Chi-chi would you be up to meeting the pack tomorrow? I mean you don't have to yet if you are still weak but they would all like to meet their Luna." he asked while he dried me off then wrapped the towel around me.

"I would love too. But will they accept me for what I am a Dragon I mean?" I asked unsure I was ready to share my secret with them. We went back into the bedroom were he pulled out some of his clothes and handed them to me. A pair of boxer shorts and a simple T-shirt putting them on I sat down on hs bed.

"Of course they will they have been waiting for you a very long time. A pack can't function well without a Luna. Now what would you like to eat?" He asked as his eyes lite up.

"Fish and lots of it and maybe some orange juice." I rushed out. I was so hungry and didn't realize it.

Chuckling he got up and walked out of the room. Missing his closeness I snuggled into his bed breathing in his scent. A few minutes later he walks into the room with two trays of food. Which smelled heavenly. He sat the food down on the table next to him and picked up a plate of food.

"Come on sit up I'm going to feed you." he said with a smile. He offered a fork full of fish wish he placed the fork full of food into my mouth. Which tasted heavenly and satisfied my aching hunger. When we finished eating he put the tray outside the door and walked back over to me. Sitting down on the bed he climbed in next to me and pulled me close to him. We fit together perfectly and we finally drifted of into a wonderful sleep.
