A Tail of Two Brothers

Jake-Blue Moon Pack Alpha POV

Answering the phone ringing in my office I was suprised when Damon's voice came through the other end. "Hello Alpha Jake what can I do for for you?"

"Jake this is Damon listen I have a big problem." he spoke.

"What's wrong little brother?" I spoke gently. Grabbing a pen and paper so I could take notes if I needed to.

"Um I found my mate a couple of days ago and now someone is trying to take her from me." he spoke with hate laced in his voice. I knew that it wasn't directed towards me so I let him vent without saying anything.

"That's great that you found your mate but who is trying to take her from you?' I asked concerned with her well-being.

A moment of silence passed before he spoke again, "A male dragon has went on a rampage and he is trying to find her. He has already burned down the city closest to us in his rampage." he spoke unsure.

If I hadn't watched the news I wouldn't have believed him. Thinking about it for a couple of minutes I came to the conclusion that I would help him protect his mate and the human race from this threat. "Okay bro my pack and I will be there in a couple of days." I told him.

I heard a sigh of relief from the other end, "Thank you brother for your help." he said before he hung up the phone. I was intrigued about his mate I was ready to see her. Making my wolf stir with curiosity. Which was unusual because he was the quiet type but he was growing anxious to get there. Standing up from my desk I walked out of the pack house and mind linked my pack for a meeting. Within a few minutes my pack stood in front of me ready to make my announcement.

"Listen up my brother Damon is in need of our assistance. There is a big threat headed his way and he needs us to help him out with it." the pack began mumbling among themselves. "Quiet please, The threat headed their way also posses a threat to the human race as well as ours. It has caused a lot of destruction in a big city already. And he will continue his rampage until he is stopped. The threat is a massive black dragon and with the help of all three packs we should be able to bring him down and end him. Do I have any volunteers to help me with this battle?" About 100 of my best fighters nodded their heads in agreement. "Okay we leave first thing in the morning." I stated dismissing them from the meeting. The pack left to say good bye to their mates and family. I on the other hand didn't have a mate yet so I went to gather my things and get ready for the task at hand.

Alex-Red River Pack Alpha POV

Ring! Ring! my phone went off waking me up from a much needed nap. "Hello Alpha Alex speaking?" I mumbled sleepily.

"Hello Alex this is Damon." came my brothers voice from the other end.

"What's up man?" I asked pushing the pack whore away from me. Hey don't judge I'm the oldest of the three brothers even if it is just a few minutes. But I haven't found my mate yet and we wolves have needs.

"I found my mate bro and this crazy dragon is going to try and take her away from me." he said depressingly.

Stopping to think for a moment I couldn't help but ask, "Why would a dragon want to take your mate bro?" I asked confused. I had seen the news so I believed him about the dragon.

Sighing deeply he spoke, "Because she's the last female dragon man and he's angry about me taking her away from him." he said exasperated.

Sighing deeply I had to ask, " Brother is she your true mate or is she a marked female?"

"Brother I wouldn't have marked her if she wasn't my true mate. Are you going to help me I mean my mate doesn't want anything to do with him as a matter of fact she is scared of him." he tried reasoning with me.

Taking a deep breath I replied, "Okay brother I will be there as soon as I can." Clicking the end button on the phone I set it down on the night stand before standing up. There was no way I could go back to sleep now and my wolf was going crazy in my head. Pushing him back I went down stairs to address my pack..

Within an hour I had everyone gathered in the back lawn. "Listen up everyone. I need volunteers to go with me to my brother Damon's we are gearing up for a huge battle against the dragon that has been terrorizing the near by cities. He has grown to dangerous to allow to live as e is threaten to take over the world and destroy anything that gets in his way." I stood there for a moment to let the information sink in.

There was murmuring among my pack before the first wolf shouted, "You can count me in!" As soon as the words died down several others said the same thing.

"Okay thank you for all the ones that volunteered we will be leaving first thing in the morning. We are going to have a feast tonight so that everyone can say goodbye to their mates and families." I said with a smile. I smiled at how loyal and strong my pack was. Hopefully this battle with be over soon so that we could all return home safely. Leaving the back yard I step back into the pack house and I went up stairs to pack my belongings.
