A Short Chapter In Which Everything Looks Like Its Going To Be Okay

"Hey Gray?" Lucy waved her hand in front the ice mage's face,"Why do you keep zoning out today? Are you sick? You haven't even fought with Natsu!"

Gray nearly fell off the bar, "Aika." He said smiling, "She's supposed to be coming back home today."

Ezra butted into their conversation,"Today! I'm certain she took a decade quest! It's only been two months! But then again, it is our little Aika, she did say she was planning to return for the festival."

A team of four was far away from Fairytail when preparations for the festival began. Bixlow, Freed, Evergreen and Aika were at the base of a dark guild, whooping their asses, the blonde girl not even lifting a finger. When they completed the job, they collected their prize money.

Originally, this job was only for Bixlow, Freed and Evergreen, but when they saw their dear little Aika on their way to the request, they begged her to come along. 'I can't wait to see Onii-chan!' The girl thought as they ventured back home, 'I bet he missed me as much as I missed him!'

The blonde smiled as she stood outside the apartment she shared with her big brother. After taking a deep breath, and listening to a motivational speech from Evergreen, she unlocked the door and walked in.

She found the lightning mage, clad in an oversized cloak, sleeping on their couch. "Onii–chan!" She shouted as she jumped on top of the man, effectively waking him up,"I missed you!"

He chuckled as he placed his hand on the girl's head,"I missed you too, Aika."

He then turned to his teammates while pulling his sister into his chest,"Evergreen, you and Aika plan to have a sleepover tonight? Don't leave Fairy Hills, you know what to do."
