Crocus, Fiore

The iconic beast slaying trio of Sabertooth wandered through the streets of Crocus, idly chatting as they purchased souvenirs to remember the games.

"Are you sure you're okay Rogue?" Aika worriedly muttered as her mate put his arms around her shoulders, "I know she's not a slayer so she doesn't feel pain, but I can feel that you're dying to see Kagura. Why don't you just tell her?"

The shadow dragon lowered his head and clenched his fists, "I can't. Her guild... how would Mermaid Heel react to that?"

"Rogue..." the siren slayer uttered as she approached her friend, briefly wrapping her arms around him before letting go and returning to her whiny mate.

Now, let me make this abundantly clear.

If Aika had hugged any other male, Sting's overprotective, horny, possessive ass would be beating the shit out of whoever the unlucky target is.

What makes Rogue so different?

The slayers had performed an ancient dragon slayer ritual which, according to the encyclopedia of my brain making stuff up as I go along, works along the lines of the following:

"When two slayers are mated, the female often feels extreme pain (whether physical or emotional) when her mate is not by her side, and no one can help her except her mate. The males tend to act savagely when they feel that their female counterpart is not entirely safe, and nothing can stop them from wreaking havoc on people and places in the name of love.

The solution to this problem was discovered in x420 but has been mostly forgotten. A ritual between three slayers, mates and a protector – someone who has sworn to protect, comfort and care for the female (though, not to the same extent as her mate). A mark flashes around his eye each time he touches the female as a threat to anyone who wants to get her."

The three slayers stood in silence for a while as they let their cats wander around the store. Oh my God, are you listening to the song? Honestly, what a bop. I didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me.

Soon enough, the cats had finished and the group had gone outside to get back to the hotel. Unfortunately, someone wanted Aika, and he had no problem with saying it.

Just needed this quick chapter so something makes sense later
