"And, now for the seveth competitor of the Miss Fairytail Contest... Lucy Hea-"

The Heartfilia girl jumped onto the stage and waved before Max could finish, "Please don't say my last name!"

'There's no way they'll give me the prize money if they find out who my dad is!'

"Me and my celestial spirits are gonna do a cheer for you guys!" the blonde half-heartedly shook a pom pom as she spoke, "Open, gate of Canis Minor, Plue!"

"Entry number eights," a voice rang through the hall as everyone froze, knowing who it belonged to... everyone except Lucy, who was waving her arms, "Hey! Wait, I haven't even started to do my cheer yet!

A woman clad in a green dress appeared behind the celestial mage, "I am the very definition of fairy, not to mention the very definition of beauty. I'm the only woman here who embodies everything that is desired. Therefore the winner is me, the lovely Evergreen! Now this idiotic contest can end!"

"Whoa, she's back?"

"Then Laxus must be here too."

"Maybe even Aika..."

Before any more muttering could continue, Lucy shouted, "Oh come on! Can't you go mess up a different contest! Give me a break here! I really need this prize money!"

"Lucy!" Gray shouted from the crowd, "don't look her in the eye!"

Can you guess what the blonde bimbo did? She looked at Evergreen, straight in the eye. A gray color quickly encased her body. It started at her ankles and rose, completely covering her figure in seconds.

"This is bad..." Max muttered, his voice being caught in the microphone, "Everyone, get out of here, now!"

Makarov Dreyar ran forward, "What do you think you're doing Evergreen? You'll ruin the festival for everyone!"

Evergreen giggled as a curtain rose behind her, "On the contrary, I think things are just gettig interesting."

Behind her was a line of statues, each a member of the Fairytail guild and a participant in the Miss Fairytail Contest.

"Don't be a fool, Evergreen!" the old man shouted, "Return them to normal this instant!"

A light appeared above Evergreen and, in a flash, a streak of lightning had landed right beside Lucy. "Well, looks like all your fans decided to head home," a voice spoke from the golden streak, "Pity, 'cause the party's about to start!"

"I should have known," gramps muttered under his breath.

"Freed? Bixlow too?" Gray, one of the few that remained inside gasped, "Aika! What are you doing here!?"

Freed stood on one side of the room, leaning against a column while Bixlow, his babies and Aika sat on a second floor railing. Something about Aika's aura was... off. It seemed as if she emitted a slight red one, if that makes any sense.

"Come on, let's have some fun!" Laxus shouted, "Oh, and Gray! Don't bother trying to talk to Aika, she's not here!"

"You monster!"

If one was to look directly into Aika's sea blue eyes, the areas that were usually light were now dark slits, with a bit of ruby red escaping the darkness. Yes, they were beautiful, and almost seductively so, but the eyes are the windows to the soul, and one could tell that it clearly wasn't her.

"You'd better play nice if you want these ladies to join the parade, or else, i could just crush them!"

Freed leaped onto the stage, "I've always wanted to see who's the strongest in the guild."

"Yeah," Bixlow grinned, "Let's have some fun!"

"Fun! Fun!"

'Aika' followed him as well, "This sounds vaguely interesting. I might as well get in some warm ups before I join the others in fighting that little girl. She's already wiped out a few siren spirits, and it appears she's taking on my right hand woman. I gotta hand it to ya' Laxus, your sister is the most powerful slayer we've experienced, and you'd better get her to agree soon."

"Soon enough, Adagio, soon enough."
