After the first two groups left for their missions came Carrion and Angel's turn. They turned the portal to the coordinates of 'The Mortal Instruments' or so Angel says. They were dropped off at an abandoned church. Well, for Carrion it was. Angel was staring around in wonder. Then she suddenly pulled Carrion behind a door.

"What?!" He asked. She looked at him questioningly.

"We're in the middle of the institute, buzzing with shadowhunters and we're just lucky they didn't notice us yet. Why do you think I pulled you in here before they noticed we weren't one of them?" She asked him. Carrion looked at Angel incredulously.

"What do you mean? We're in an abandoned church. It looks so decrepit and old, I don't even think it's safe to be inside right now." He said. Angel's eyes widened in realization.

"My abilities are working! I have shadowhunter abilities and they are working!" She exclaimed. "We have to get you to see them or else we can't do the mission or even get out of here in the first place!" She started pacing, muttering to herself, then a literal lightbulb flashed in her head.

"I know! Come here, come here!" She gestured to Carrion before putting her hands on both sides of his head and saying something. "Alright, there! I've transferred those abilities to you for a short time. You'll be able to see everything while we're still here."

Carrion blinked, everything blurring out for a second. He shut his eyes, and when he opened them it was like he was in another place altogether. The room was a bedroom, complete with a four poster bed with red drapes and a nightstand with something that looks suspiciously like one of those wands that Umbra always carries.

"Where are we?" Carrion asked in wonder.

"I told you, we're in the Institute. It's where shadowhunters live or at least meet. Think of it as a sort of fortress or watchtower they use to monitor demonic activity and defend the human world." Angel answered, and you can distinguish the awe in her voice.

"How do we get out of here? They'd catch us. Our mission is with the Seelie queen, not the shadowhunters," Carrion stated.

"Did I hear Seelie?" Someone entered the room, staring at both of them. They stared back. The man didn't seem to be bothered by not knowing them.

"Um, yes? Excuse me, who are you?" Angel asked. Just then other people walked in the room. One was in a suit and had glitters in his hair, and the others looked like normal people. The first man who walked in had sharp features.

"Pardon me for intruding, but we were about to discuss the Accords here when I heard you talking. I am Meliorn, a knight in the Seelie Court, and a representative of the Queen. Now, what was it that you wanted with her?" Meliorn threw a question back at them.

"I think this should be private talk," Carrion said, looking at the others behind Meliorn.

"Anything you say to him you can say to us." The man with the glitters said. "Forgive me, I'm Magnus, the High Warlock of Brooklyn and representatives of the warlocks in this meeting. "

Throughout the whole exchange, Angel's eyes were getting wider and wider and her jaws were almost to the floor.

"Umm, I think there's something wrong with your friend." One of the others, a teenager boy, said. "I'm Raphael Santiago, representative of the vampires." He flashed his teeth.

Carrion had to snap his fingers in front of Angel to get her attention.

"I can't believe it! It's Raphael and Magnus and Meliorn! Then I assume you're Luke?" She pointed at the other guy who hadn't introduced himself yet.

"How do you know who I am?" The guy called Luke went to a fighting stance.

"I think I know what this is, care to explain to them, portal travelers?" Meliorn said.

"What do you mean portal travelers?" Magnus asked. "So they're from a different country?"

"I think they should explain this one themselves. Come, let's discuss this with the Accords," Meliorn told them, and they followed everyone out the door.
