Shifter led the way to the portal that took them to the Void. They had already taken the issue with Chiron and made sure none of the demigods knew what they were going to do, coming up with the lie of having to come to the aid of other dimensions.

They entered and were immediately transported into nothingness. It seemed like that to Umbra at first, until he brought out his wand and muttered a small "lumos".

Immediately, other lights sprouted from around them. It was like the Alpha Team were floating in space, surrounded by stars. Umbra quickly extinguished his light and they waited for Shifter's command.

"Form ranks. And Angel, you can put your hand down. I know it appears we're in space. Everybody has a way of flight or levitation, right? Now, form ranks!" Shifter commanded. Everyone quickly followed suit, standing in front of him in perfect position.

As soon as they were in rank, the place seemed to shift and change. The area itself seemed to change, collapsing in itself and then opening again. Once it was done, the entire place seemed different. what seemed like space was now a vast green field with a forest trail at the end. They trudged on, walking through the field still in rank. Nobody talked. They know that the place would be like this and they need to stay close. they also know that the consequence of creating noise and a disturbance could possibly be their lives and the rest of the universes'.

The atmosphere changed instantly once they entered the forest. It was calming, even soothing. It was so relaxing that Umbra almost dozed off, if not for Forge hitting him at the back of the head.

"Stop. we're not going to be able to pass this forest like this," Diva said sleepily.

"Well then what do you suggest we do?" Carrion asked before closing his eyes for a long time then snapping awake again. "I'm o=awake, I'm awake. I'm okay," he yawned.

"See? Let me do something," Diva said. They all looked at her and waited for what she'll do. right before they fell asleep, she wailed. The wailing was so loud and horrible, the sound not seeming to come from her throat. They instantly woke up. They covered their ears and nodded to her, and only then did she stop.

"Okay. That worked. What now?" Angel muttered, rubbing her ears.

ROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRR! The sound of a loud roar filled their ears. It was something large. Very large. And it sounded hungry. Off in the distance, the Alpha Team could see trees falling over like dominoes.

"You asked what now, huh. Run!" Shifter said. They didn't need it. Sierra and Matthias were already ahead and running. They broke rank, as it would help them run faster. Whatever it was that was chasing them was still on their tail.

"Can't we fight it?" Angel yelled, avoiding a low branch and almost tripping but catching herself gracefully.

Shifter slowed down and looked back. He glowered at the beast that was chasing them and stopped.

"That's Gugalanna. You know him as Taurus, the constellation. He's a god in Sumerian mythology, but he was sent here as punishment. He's literally a giant bull. you can fight him." They all stopped and faced the monster. The monster crashed one last tree before appearing to them in all its glory. The bull roared again, snorted, then charged. They leaped into action. Separating and flanking the monster, they took out their weapons and charged.

They met its charge head-on. Well, forge did. Before the monster hit him, he pressed a button on his bracelet and a shield popped out. The shield absorbed the impact of the bull's charge and Forge was unmoved. It vibrated a little before sending the energy of the charge back to the bull, which was blasted back.

Sierra and Matthias immediately called on the elements and made the bull freeze while it was still upturned, unable to stand. Finally, Bloom took out her sword and cut its head. The bull stopped roaring and the jungle was still. Nothing moved. Bloomed sheathed her sword and pushed her hair back.

"That's over with. Let's go, before we attract anything else. I'm pretty sure that roaring became a homing beacon for others to say 'hey, free dinner!'" Umbra said.

They formed ranks instantly as if they were never disturbed by the monster. Soon, they were out of the jungle and stepped on something soft and wet.

"SNOW!" Seer yelled, reaching down and scooping some up. Sifter just shook his head as he smiled, watching as the Alpha Team was immediately turned into a bunch of 8-year-olds as they threw snowballs and made snow angels. As they were having fun, a blizzard hit.

It was so strong and so cold that they were immediately soaked. Shifter held his hand out and a force field formed around them, keeping the snow from reaching them. In the distance, they saw a large black castle.

"Void," Shifter said before walking up to it.
