"Carrion, where are you?!" Angel called throughout the hall. The shapeshifting member of the Alpha team ducked leaned his head out of his room looking at Angel.
"What?!" he asked.
"Why don't you come out here? Let's play some board games!"
"Uhh, maybe later," Carrion answered.
"Come here. Why don't you come out? Why are you hiding behind your door? You've got something you're hiding!" Angel quickly tried to pull Carrion from behind the door but he ducked back inside, trying to push it close.
"I'm not wearing anything!" Carrion yelled while still struggling to close the door. Angel gushed and stopped trying to open the door.
"Why aren't you wearing anything?!" She exclaimed, disgust showing in her face.
"We just came back from a really major fight. I thought I could use that time to take a bath, and I was about to step into it when you called me," he explained.
"Then go to your bath!" Angel huffed before stomping off. Carrion, not knowing what just happened, just shrugged and went back to his bath, locking the door this time.
As soon as Forge got through the portal, he knew that because of that difficult mission, they would be allowed a few days rest before going back to their jobs. He liked this very much because he would finally have some alone time in his garage. He slept in his room for a while before heading straight for it. Unlike the features of the others' rooms that are inside their own rooms, Forge's garage is outside a separate building altogether.
When he got there, however, he wasn't alone. everyone else was there. They were in a line formation, holding their weapons out and arguing with each other on who should go first. Forge cleared his throat an stood in front of his worktable.
"Whats this?" He asked.
"There you are! We've been waiting for you for a long time!" Umbra exclaimed. "Our weapons got damaged by End and his minions in that fight. We need replacements and fixing,"
"I can have these done by tomorrow. Anything else?"
"Yeah, Happy Birthday!" They all yelled, throwing up streamers and confetti and conjuring balloons. Shock registered across Forge's face before he turned serious again.
"It's my birthday?" He asked.
"I've searched extensively about this and by that, I looked for clues in your room," Seer said.
"You got the date right," Forge commented, looking at a streamer. "But not the DAY. It's June 27th today, and my birthday is on 28th, tomorrow."
The Alpha Team got a little embarrassed but laughed it off.
"Then that just means that we can celebrate early this way! Whoo! I can finally have a good rest!" Matthias exclaimed.
"You lazy sleepyhead," Sierra bumped into Matthias' shoulder "We can do this tomorrow,"
"No no no no it's alright, just go do your thing," Forge said. "I'll have to fix these weapons anyway,"
They needed no other encouragement as they went back to their rooms and Forge went to work. He started with the swords as they were the easiest. He got lost in the rhythm of his work and smiled a wide smile, the first time of that magnitude after a long time.
Shifter went back to Chaos' palace, deciding to spend some time with his family. The largest possible threat has been defeated, and though there may be other threats to the universe, they wouldn't be as Major as End and Shifter knew that everyone could use a little rest. All his brothers and sisters were there. Void was sitting on his throne while Chaos casually lounged on hers.
The primordials all sat on thrones that symbolized their domain, much like how the Olympians did it. They reconvened first on the face of their Earth, and then the fate of the other universes. It's been millions of years since they had been complete like this in a council. They all bickered at first, who gets what, what happens to Earth, and other different petty issues while Shifter sat on a stool that he conjured and crossed his arms at them.
"If this is all you're going to do, you're wasting my time," He butted in. "Keep silent and talk like civilized people or I'm leaving. I can do that right, Mother?" Chaos nodded at him. They all stopped, looking at him. Tartarus laughed.
"It's been so long, brother. We are old and not the weaklings you have thought of us before. You cannot tell us what and what to do or not to do," Tartarus barked. Shifter stared at his eyes and Tartarus flew up, his throne disintegrating.
"It has been so long. You have forgotten what I can do. I am the eldest, brother. Now, keep quiet and speak in turns, not in chorus," Shifter ordered. They all shut up, only speaking up when Shifter let Tartarus down, who conjured another throne for himself.
They had just finished talking about the most important matters and returning to their own realms. Everything was good.
A/N: Boo! This is the last chapter before the epilogue and so I wanted to finish it as fast as possible for you guys.
