JASE'S POV (earlier that day...)
"Fine, go but I'll miss you Sunshine. You just had to wear those shorts didn't you," I wince as she "accidentally" drops her keys and leans over to pick them up. She starts giggling and I flip her off before going inside. I love that she's getting more comfortable with me. My sister sees me and bursts out laughing, which I can only assume probably has something to do with the big, goofy grin on my face. Shit, I'm turning into Chris.
"So dear sister, would you like to explain the TV situation. According to your roommate there's nothing wrong with it," she starts laughing again and I grab her from behind, and proceed to give her a giant wet-willy. She punches me, then sits down trying to get ahold of herself.
"Nope the TVs fine, bet you looked like a dumbass to Char," she says smirking at me.
"Yeah I did, so do you want to tell me why you did that,"
She smiles, "I was hoping you two would run into each other, you guys are cute together."
What... I'm pretty sure my sister is crazy. "Wait so after constantly telling me to stay away from her, you suddenly decide to now jump on the Chase boat??"
My sister starts laughing so hard she's crying. I can tell my face is beat red but I try to play it off like I'm not embarrassed. I can't believe I said "Chase boat" out loud...awkward...
"Did you seriously come up with that and everything,"
"Not the point right now but yes I did and it's very clever if I do say so myself,"
She gets ahold of herself once again, "Anyway, I think she would be good for you maybe straighten you out. I think you would also be good for her, she hasn't told me anything but I think everyone can tell she's got a damaged past. Just do one favor for me?"
I look at my little Lexi and I can tell she's dead serious right now. "Of course you know that I'd do anything for you."
"Don't play with her. If your willing to be all in no one night stand shit or stuff like that, then please go for it. But if you can't do that then please stay away from her she doesn't need anymore damage done to her."
I look my sister in the eye also dead serious, "You have my word." With that she smiles at me and heads back to her room.
(For those of you who don't know Charlotte+Jase= Chase. Kinda like Brangelina. xoxo 😘)
.....
I look at my phone and almost chuck it against the wall. It's the eleventh time Trisha has called and it's getting on my nerves. I told her last week I'd take her to lunch, but now I'm trying to keep my promise to my sister. I really like Charlotte and I'm willing to make an effort for once in my life.
But now that Trisha won't stop calling I'm getting annoyed and willing to take her to lunch and then never see her again. When I go to pick her up she's in some mini dress that makes the jersey shore girls look like saints, extremely high heels she can barely walk in and she must have on ten pounds of makeup. She's nothing like my Sunshine and I'm grossed out that I used to think that was hot.
"OMG hey JT, I thought you forgot about me then I realized you can't," she try's to rub her hand on my thigh but I remove it and place it by her.
"It's sorta hard to forget when you call nonstop for thirteen and a half minutes," I answer annoyed, and she's shocked that I'm not playing the nice guy.
She tells me she wants Greek so we go to the little pub down the road. As we're being seated I notice some girl with reddish blond hair that looks oddly familiar. I shrug it off and just focus on getting this lunch over with.
Trisha keeps moving her chair closer to mine, tries to take my hand, rub my thigh, footsie, basically just trying anything to get my attention and I'm completely turned off by it. How did I not notice how clingy she is.
"So JT,-"she begins but doesn't get to finish because someone starts screaming, and I discover my day just got worse.
"CHARLOTTE ROSE PIERCE, I CANT BELIEVE YOU," the girl who looked familiar was the one screaming and sitting with Charlotte. That's right Emily, Charlottes friend.
Even though I know I'm walking into a bad situation I at least can get out of this hell of a lunch. I stand up and hear Trisha whining about where I'm going and what I'm doing, I ignore her and head over to Charlottes table. I can't stop smiling when I see her, and she's still wearing those amazing shorts.
She has a pained expression on her face but I just pull up a chair and wrap my arm around my beautiful girl. Her friend starts asking me all these questions about Trisha that I really don't want to answer. But I decide I can either be honest about my relationship with Trisha, or I can lie and make the problem even worse. So I go with the first choice.
She moves my arm off of her and moves her chair away from mine.
I give her a confused look but she ignores it. For some reason Emily is giving me a sympathetic look and I don't know why.
"Let me get this straight Jase, you were planning to take me out on a date tonight, after you had hooked up with another girl," Shes giving me the scariest death glare I have ever seen. This is not how I thought this was going to go, I figured she'd be a little annoyed but I'd be able to explain. That didn't happen...
I was about to talk but she started first. "You know what your a piece of shit! I have heard so much about your rep and I decided to ignore it because I thought they were just rumors. Well looks like I was wrong yet again. Have fun with what's her face over there I'm not going anywhere with you!!" She then picked up both Emily's and her glass of iced tea and dumped them on my head.
I watched her walk out of the restaurant with my eyes wide and mouth hanging open. That is not at all what I expected, who knew my little Sunshine had such spunk. Dam that girl just surprises me and that temper fuck, that was hot. After a few minutes of sitting there like an idiot with my mouth wide open I went after her ditching Trisha.
She wasn't paying attention when I grabbed her shoulder to turn her around.
