Chapter 34

CHARLOTTE'S POV

I felt like a giant weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Everything was out in the open, and had Jase left me? No, he was in love with me. He made me feel things I have never felt before. He held onto me for a while. I glanced at the alarm clock by his bed and shot out of his bed.

"Holy shit Jase!! We missed class, and I still have more later!!" I started getting dressed not realizing that I was changing in front of him. I'm rushing to pull my jean shorts on but I end up tripping over myself and falling on my ass. Jase grins at me and walks over to me. He's still shirtless and I can tell I'm about to start drooling. Honestly how can someone's body look that amazingly perfect?

His muscles flex when he lifts me off the ground and I have to stop myself from leaning forward to lick his beautifully perfect chest. He sets me on my feet and pulls me to him so were chest to chest, the only thing separating us is his shirt I'm wearing.

His blue eyes are glowing with love and lust. He pushes a piece of my hair behind my ear and places a kiss against my forehead. "Sunshine, play hooky with me. Please. Let's just spend the day together." One of his hands that's on my waist is stroking my stomach causing my body to heat up with desire. There is no way in hell that I'd be able to say no to him, even if I wanted to.

So I might as well get something in return.

"Okay," as I say it a slow grin forms on his face, "but only under one condition." He loses the grin after hearing this. I give him a big toothy grin and kiss his cheek. "You have to tell me why you call me Sunshine."

He smiles at me, "Awe but Sunshine, that's my little secrete." I give him a don't - mess - with - me look and he gives in. "Arggh fiinnneee, I'll tell you!!"

I squeal and start jumping around, "Yay!! I love you so much!!" I throw my hands around his neck and jump into his arms, wrapping my legs around his waist and pressing my lips to his. The kiss quickly grows more passionate as I bite his lip, trying to pry his mouth open. He moans just before pulling his lips away from mine. 

"Charlotte babe, you really need to stop doing that if you want to take it slow." He groans while I bite his ear.

"Jase, I think we bypassed slow after our first date. We were practically dry-humping each other in front of my door. If the girls hadn't stepped in who knows where that could've gone." I start giggle as he shrugs his shoulders and starts to nuzzle my neck. After a few minutes I remember what I had initially wanted.

"Babe, stop avoiding the subject at hand and tell me!!" I give him a slap on the shoulder.

He sets me down and then sits on the floor. I do the same and scoot as close as I can to him.

"Alright finnee, if you must know but it's kind of embarrassing." I give him an impish grin, maybe it's something I can tease him about...

He covers his face with his hands as if he's exasperated, then proceeds to talk, "Do you remember the first time you kicked me in the nuts." I nodded and he continued, "Well right before that I had seen you walking in the halls, and you had seemed to be a little lost so I had approached you as you remember. I hugged you from behind, kissed your cheek, and then got kicked in the balls. So my eyes were closed because I was in pain, but when I had opened them, you were standing before me, all worried about me. When I saw you it kind of seemed like you were shining, or I don't know had some sort of halo thing around you. You were just so beautiful and bright, you reminded me of the sun. That was also the moment I started to realize I was in love with you." His face is a little flushed, but I don't think it's embarrassing at all. I press my lips against his and he gives me a smile in return.

Since were playing hooky we decide to go play mini-golf.

"I hope you're prepared to lose Jase." I say to him before walking out of his bedroom. I even add a hair flip to be more dramatic.

"What the hell are you talking about Sunshine I could beat you at mini-golf in my sleep!" He says chasing after me.

"Um Jase it's called MINI-golf. That means I will obviously be the better golfer." I wave my hand at myself pointing out my size.

"Bullshit babe. Care to put money on it?" Damn I can never resist a bet.

"You're on Taylor! If I win you have to run around the football field naked during your warm ups."

"Fine, and if I win you have to do a strip tease for me and give me a lap dance." When I tell you Jase's smile took up his whole face I really mean it. It was like a little kid getting to eat as much sugar as they wanted.

"Done." I wasn't worried one bit. I was actually a really good mini-golf player. We shook on it and started to walk to his car.

"Shit I forgot my keys, I'll be right back." Jase ran back in the house.

Watching him I was happy. I had never felt this elated before in my entire life. But I knew from my experience that this would not last very long and as if on cue my phone vibrated. I flipped it open not surprised by who it was from.

Unknown #: ·End the relationship now, are you really going to let him get hurt for something he didn't do? You better do it now little slut or I'll do it for you. Your actions always have consequences or have you forgotten?

No. No. No. I am just so fucking done with this. I will not let him ruin me when I have finally gotten to a good place. He can't do anything to hurt me, I've been broken one too many times, and the pain no longer exists. I will not let him hurt Jase, if he does I will spend the rest of my days hunting him down.
