My dad had suspected that something bad was coming so he sent me to go live with my my aunt till everything died down...l had come home to find my father dead..

The first time l found out was a years ago.....my best friend was renewing her wedding vows and many shitty things happened ..making me late...

I had gone to my best friend to apologize for being late and she had wanted to introduce me to her brother.. But he wasn't there and l had to use the ladies..

So l promised to come right back after l use the ladies for the introduction.. If l had known what l would see l wouldn't have gone to the bathroom or even come to the party at all..

I had almost gotten to the bathroom..when his scent hit me..all thought of easing myself was gone..l was addicted.. I had to find my mate....

I let my feline out a little bit..to heighten my sense of smell and l followed it..the trail led me a room...l think its the store room..

Moaning could be heard from inside the room but l refused to believe ..so l carefully opened the door a little making sure not a make a single sound...till this moment I wish..l hadn't done that..

A lady came into view..her dress was lifted up and my mate had his face in her crotch..licking the woman like she was a lollipop..l cupped my mouth to silence the sob that threatened to escape..l stood ready to close the door but his raised his face up..licking his fingers..his words pierced my heart...

I quickly closed the door and ran to the bathroom..he didn't even come out..I poured all my breakfast into the toilet..emptying my tummy..my tears ran freely...

My make-up was doomed..l can't stay here any longer..l had to come up with a lie so my best friend will let me go....so l told her that my mum just called that she's down with a cold and l had to take care of her..

I know..worst lie ever even l knew that ...she gave me that you-are-lying look but she still let me go..l am just grateful that she didn't notice my eyes or even my make-up..but then again maybe she did but she didn't want to say anything..

From that day l avoided him like a plague.. I didn't go for his ascension ceremony..came up another lie..my best friend didn't say anything..

I would have left the pride lands but my mother..l am all she has..so hence my suffering..looking at him with different girls..I guess even knowing that he has a mate didn't do nothing to him..

I found out a week after the incident that he was my best friends brother and our new prime..since he kinda killed the psychopath who wanted to take over the pride who killed the prime and he was the next heir ...

Technically he was royalty and l was shit..even if the princess was my best friend..that doesn't mean anything..

Back to the present.....

She waved at me telling me to come over..l shaked my head telling her no..she smiled and told me to stay put...they started coming towards me..my bff, her mate. Her brother and stranger girl..

I can smell trouble..I smiled at her and started backing away but she looked at me hard..telling me without words that lf l moved she would kill me...

Oh shit...they  finally got here...he took a long whiff of the air around us..looking directly at me...his eyes narrowed to slits as his eyes turn gold..
.my bestie seemed to not see this...avian dropped the other girl's hand and smiled at me..I quickly looked down...

He kept saying like that was the only thing he could say..l took faint steps backward as he stalked me..all activities stopped every one was looking at us...Ava had that what-the-shit-is-going look on her face...

I turned and ran as fast as my legs could carry me..l know that he wouldn't let me go.. Even lf he doesn't want me..so l am going to leave the pride land..that's lf l can get out of vampire land undetected first before thinking of the pride land...the maybe leave the country..

My heart tightened at that ...I was doing him a favour right..making him not choose....because l am sure he wouldn't choose me..and lt would destroy me..

The things is..am l making the right decision..
