What lies beneath.
You cannot see it.
Her eyes are a gate,
But you cannot see it whole.
Beneath.
Beneath she is hurt.
She has been hurt so bad.
She cries herself to sleep,
Knowing that life is just sad.
Beneath she hides.
She hides her voice.
She holds back what she wants to say.
Beneath she wants to be free.
She wants to fly
and touch the sky.
But the sky isn't her limit.
She'll shoot for the stars even.
But she cannot.
Her dream only lays within,
Never to see the surface.
She will stay hidden all her days.
She'll just stay away and keep everything beneath.
Beneath she hides deep dark secrets.
Beneath.
This is where she needs you most.
