Alone

Why do I always feel alone?

I can be in a crowd of a million,

and I will still feel alone.

Lonely.

Loneliness is something I have grown up with.

But when I'm with you.

It's different.

I'm not alone.

I am with someone.

Someone who I love.

You make me feel like someone cares about me.

I feel like together,

We are unstoppable.

We could take on the world.

But when you leave.

I'm alone.

Lost and alone.

And it hurts to be alone sometimes.

Like it does right now.

It hurts.

So I must wait for you.

Who knows how long,

But I will wait for you.
