I feel lonely and sad

Just knowing that you're countries away.

I used to know that you were safe and at home

But I don't know that anymore.

I am sad that you get to experience the world

And I'm not.

I'm sad that we aren't doing it together.

I'm sad knowing there may be prettier

Better girls there.

I feel lonely because of all these reasons and so many more.

But I look up at the sun

And all finally seems right.

It's the same sun here.

At least we are connected through that.

Same stars here.

Same moon here.

No matter where you are,

Some things never change.

I miss you,

But you already know that.
