As mean and threatening as she was, she was a total passionate fashionista. Her pink-orange tail glittered with every movement it made as she swam towards her closet. Grabbing multiple unknown things, Kamara comes over to the table and lays everything down carefully.

"Okay, so let us start with this." She picks up a beautiful comb made out of pearls and rubies. Gold lined the base and seemed to be what the comb was made out of. It was very elegant by all means, something I didn't use being so in touch with.

"This is a comb." She spoke as if I was learning this for the first time. "We put this in our hair to keep it up and it can also go with our starfish or shells or other jewels we wear."

She sets the comb down and moves to another piece of jewelry, this time it's a beautiful amethyst set, decked with diamonds and silver. Kamara holds it up to her chest, the jewelry laid against her body as she pulls it over her head, and the piece accentuates her every curve.

A fine line of pink amethyst then diamond then pink amethyst travels down between her breast all along her skin, stopping just above her navel. The top hangs over her bosom, covering her nipples, and dips with her top curves. Loops of gold decorate the top with pink diamonds and pearls. The piece was exquisite and very flashy, but that was also Kamara's taste.

"This is called a bodice. Its purpose is to flare the skin and show off a mermaid's curves and features as well as their status in the kingdom." Kamara wears another three bands of silver on her left arm and sets a gorgeous chain of pink diamonds and pearls daintily on the crown of her head.

"The têtice," she motions to the jewels on her head, "—and the Rings." She motions to the three on her left bicep.

"The next piece is called the hylm," she places a silver chain that flares with many pink jewels and pearls littering to her tail.

"These admirable jewels are to show the status of importance and declaration of our people. Each jewel is a very important task, expedition, or assignment we are given and completed. For each jewel, such as this one," she touches the triangular shaped pink diamond just below her navel that goes with her home, "is achieved by going farther than what is required.

"I actually received this from the prince himself for killing a shark attacking a little Hoddle. We soon ate it at a feast, mother was so proud.." Kamara looks rather distant at that moment after the huge explanation of certain jewels. I understood the basics of what it was for and I already had some questions brewing.

I just couldn't help my curiosity. "Prince?"

Kamara snaps away from her daze and regards me with laughter. When she halfway sobers up, a sly smile lights her lips. "Yes, we have a prince. Actually, we have one of those and two princesses, and a king and queen. Any more questions before I continue?" She sounded quietly annoyed I asked something off topic, but I didn't care; it was as if I was sucked into a fairytale world, and I was amazed.

So instead of asking about the prince and the kingdom, I decided to go with the matter at hand, "You said the prince rewarded you for killing a shark, but what I'm curious about is if I'll be given a chain or an outline of each piece I get, or will I have to achieve that as well?"
