The next day Ginger ran up to Wooyoung screaming, "Wooyoung-ah, Wooyoung-ah! Do you want to eat ramen together?"
Wooyoung faked a smile "Sorry... But I already agreed to go with Taehyung and Baekhyun. Maybe next time—"
"I don't want to! We're going now!" Ginger grabbed Wooyoung's blazer and pulled him outside to a nearby shop.
"I thought we were going to eat ramen..." said Wooyoung.
Ginger smiled "Ah... That's right but... I just realised that I shouldn't be eating ramen!"
"Why?" asked Wooyoung, curiously.
"Why? That's because... Jason is coming back!"
"Jason is..?"
"My brother's name is Jason. He's a chef and he's coming back today, promising he'll make the tastiest ramen ever for me."
Wooyoung smiled "Cool... Well then let's go."
"Sure!"
The couple entered a very familiar shop. "Out of all places, why did you choose this shop, Ginger?"
"Why can I not choose this shop? Does someone you know work here?"
"N- No. Let's just buy something!"
"You knew, right?" asked Ginger, her smile fading into an emotionless face. "You know that Lee Ji Eun works here, right?"
"How did you find out?"
"So you've been meeting up more than once?!"
"I found out yesterday but I don't know why she works here."
"Don't lie to me. You two have something going on, right?"
"What do you mean by 'going on'?"
"You two have been meeting up and seeing each other."
"Shut your mouth!" screamed Wooyoung as he stood up from his seat and slammed the table with his left hand. "You don't know anything about me! You don't know anything about HER! You have absolutely no right to talk about Lee Ji Eun like that! If I ever wanted to meet up with someone, I would have gone straight up to them and not invited them to eat like what you're doing! Ji Eun has never done anything to you so you have no reason to hold a grudge on her! Talk badly about me but leave her ALONE! And if you ever ARE going to talk about me, talk about how I look or act- don't talk about my heart when you don't know my heart." Wooyoung was screaming so loudly that every single customer in the shop turned to look at the two.
He turned around and at the till stood Ji Eun. Nervously, he gulped. A drip of temperate sweat rolled from his forehead to the tip of his chin. It fell to the floor, breaking the silence that had arose when Wooyoung scolded Ginger. Gradually, sobbing from somewhere turned into raucous bawling. All eyes were behind Wooyoung and when he turned around, Ginger sat there screaming like a psychopath, stomping her feet like a child and trying to destruct her surroundings. Wooyoung turned back to the till, reluctantly, not wanting to look at Ji Eun. Ji Eun walked up to Wooyoung and stuck out her hand. "Let's be friends." she said.
He looked at Ginger who had calmed down and then to Ji Eun. His hands shivered as he lifted it to shake hands with Ji Eun and did so. She pulled her hand away and crossed them behind her back. "I'm not angry... I'm smiling."
