"Thanks for being nice to me, Kim Seolhyun." said the lady, smiling.
"Who's being n— How do you... know my name?"
"Seolhyun-ah, look at my eyes."
Seolhyun tilted her head forward and looked at the lady's eyes.
"...Ji Eun-ah... Lee Ji Eun!" shrieked Seolhyun.
Baekhyun smiled and ruffled Ji Eun's hair "Yah... I really didn't recognise you!" Ji Eun laughed. "Where are we going?"
"Double date!" answered Seolhyun. "Let's go!"
"Let's go!"
"The movie was good right?" asked Baekhyun, lifting a shiny spoon. He dipped it inside a green soup and lifted it up.
"Hmm. I liked it. What about you Wooyoung?"
"I thought it was okay..." he replied pouting.
Baekhyun blew on the soup and drank it slowly. "Wah, this is great!"
"Really? Give me some too!" said Wooyoung, pulling the bowl and placing it in the middle of the table.
"Wooyoung, have you proposed to Ji Eun yet?" asked Seolhyun anxiously. Wooyoung choked on the soup and coughed loudly. He gulped and wiped his mouth with a plain paper towel. "Why are you suddenly asking that, Seolhyun?"
"I was just curious since Baekhyun hasn't yet..."
Baekhyun put his spoon down and laid his hands on the table. "Kim Seolhyun, we're only 22! If we get married now and have kids then we won't be able to enjoy our time alone!"
Ji Eun lifted Baekhyun's spoon, scooped up a carrot and stuffed it into his mouth. "Yah, kids are meant to be a blessing, not a burden!"
"That's how ladies think. Personally, it depends on the personality of the child."
"The child's personality is influenced by what their parents are like."
"You two, calm down. Wooyoung-ah, you didn't answer my question."
Wooyoung scratched his head and stayed silent.
"I'll answer for him." said Ji Eun, "Wooyoung tried to propose but it failed."
"What?!"
"What does that mean, Ji Eun, did you reject him?"
Ji Eun drank two spoons of the soup.
"Did you really say 'no' because he's a Christian and you're Muslim?" asked Seolhyun.
"She didn't do anything wrong." started Wooyoung "I hid the ring in my cupboard but she found it when she was washing the clothes."
"Baekhyun peered over to Ji Eun's hand. "That ring?"
"Yeah..." said Wooyoung, not too happily. "She came to me wearing it and said 'yes'."
"Then what's the problem?"
"Yah Byun Baekhyun! How can you not know? I have had so many ideas and high expectations about my proposal for her. I seriously had no idea things would end up like this."
Seolhyun looked at Ji Eun. "Lee Ji Eun, you could have at least given him the chance."
