"What are you talking about?"
"You think I don't know you, right? Well you're wrong!"
"How?"
"If you're wearing your niqab, wear it with pride and stop being a disrespectful brat!"
"Mind your words!" screeched Ji Eun.
"Mind your actions, Lee Ji Eun! Don't use your niqab as a way you can cover your face and not have people know who you are. You've been discriminating your own religion for years without regret and you tell me to re-think what I'm doing? You should-"
"Sorry." interrupted Ji Eun, "I'm sorry..." She bowed her head in shame, turned around and sat on the couch. Wooyoung followed her quietly. "Was I too much?" he asked to himself.
Wooyoung sat opposite Ji Eun and remained silent. Slowly, Ji Eun took off her niqab and placed it on the table. Her hair was perfect as if she had gotten it styled by a professional hair stylist. The roots of her hair and the ends were the exact same shade of black. Her face was paler than Wooyoung expected and her lips were thin and light pink but still stood out because of her skin colour. A strand of hair was attached to her lips, she swiped her forehead and tucked the strand behind her ear. Wooyoung clapped proudly at Ji Eun. "You did it, Lee Ji Eun! You built up courage to show your face."
They both smiled at each other, happily.
"So, what do I look like?" she asked. "Am I pretty or not?"
"I don't care about looks." answered Wooyoung, honestly. "I'm happy that you finally did what was always meant to be done. I'm proud of my lover."
"Wooyoung? Wooyoung-ah!" called Seolhyun. Baekhyun and Seolhyun walked to Wooyoung. "What are you doing here?" asked Baekhyun.
"I'm waiting for my girlfriend." smiled Wooyoung.
Seolhyun linked arms with Baekhyun. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Hmm...Probably not."
"Tsk... Let's have a double date!" squealed Seolhyun.
Wooyoung smiled widely and replied saying "That sounds great!"
"Baekhyun-ah, what do you think?" asked Seolhyun.
"Well there's a romantic movie called 'The Artist: Reborn' in the theatres so we could watch that."
"Yes!" cheered Seolhyun. Suddenly, Seolhyun went silent when she saw a lady come out of the shop and hold Wooyoung's hand.
"Let's go!" said Wooyoung, cheerfully.
"Um, who's that?" asked Seolhyun uncomfortably.
"My girlfriend..."
Baekhyun exchanged looks with Seolhyun then looked at Wooyoung. "When did you get a new girlfriend?"
"Huh? What do you..?"
"You broke up with my friend?!" shouted Seolhyun. "Jang Wooyoung, how could you—?"
"Excuse me..." interspersed the lady next to Wooyoung, "what is your friend's name?"
"Be quiet lady! Her name is Lee Ji Eun and you stole her spot!"
