1975

I sat outside on a lawn chair, puffing away at my cigarette I just lighted.

I sighed, Another lonely day..

Suddenly a truck came by, stopping in front of the home where The Beatles stayed.

I sighed again, That's where John used to live...

A car followed the truck, four men got out of the car.

I stared at them. They look familiar...

One noticed me and started walking towards me, he smiled at me.

I couldn't help but smirk, Look at that boys teeth! Wow..

"Hello, darling!" He waved at me.

I raised an eyebrow up, Darling?

"Hello" I shook his hand.

"I'm-"

"Lily Moore, I've heard of you..... You're very brilliant!" The man interrupted me.

I smiled politely, "Thank you, and you are...?"

"Oh! I'm Freddie Mercury, those boys across the street there is my band! We're Queen!" He exclaimed.

I looked at him oddly, Another band..? Named Queen?

"How feminine.." I commented.

Freddie chuckled a little, "Yeah. But being original is what it's all about!"

I smiled, "True, Mr. Mercury. Very true.."

I took another puff of my cigarette.

"Well, I better go help the rest of the lads.. Lovely meeting you!" He smiled at me, I nodded at him as he ran back across the street.

More British men... Another British band..

Hours past and the truck eventually left. Guess they finally got done packing everything.

I decided to go over there and meet the rest of Queen.

I knocked on the door.

Freddie opened the door, "Lily! Hello, darling! Come in, come in! Meet the rest of the boys!" He pulled me in before I could even say anything.

"Boys, Meet our neighbor. Lily Moore, Lily this is Brian, John and Roger!"

This, Roger, quickly walked up to me.

"Hello, love." I smiled, but inside my heart dropped.

The last one to call me love was John.

I sighed slightly.

"Are you okay?" I looked up at Roger.

What a beauty this man is, and his blue eyes? Gorgeous, reminds me of Ringo.

I smiled weakly, "Yeah... You all just remind me of a couple of friends who used to live here.."

"Oh, Who were they?" Roger asked.

I sighed once again, "The Beatles.."

They all gasped, suddenly all of Queen rushed over to me.

"The Beatles?" They said in unison.

I chuckled, "Yeah.."

"Wait, wait.. You're that Lily Moore? The one who dated John Lennon?!" Freddie asked.

I nodded, "Yup.. Heh.. That's me!"

I chuckled awkwardly as they all just stared at me in awe.

"So, we're standing on the floor of legends?" John asked.

"Yeah, guess so" I shrugged.

They all began smiling oddly, looking around the room.

There was an awkward silence as the boys continued to look around the room.

"So, which one of you wrote Bohemian Rhapsody?" I finally spoke.

Freddie walked forward, "I did" He said shyly.

I smiled, "What a brilliant song, Freddie! Became one of my favorites. It's so... Different, not even the Beatles themselves could write something brilliant as that. I knew you all looked familiar from somewhere!"

If possible, Freddie's grin became so very wide.

"Well, thank you, darling!" He cheered.

I smiled and nodded, "Of course."

Another awkward silence.

"Well, I better get going. Lovely meeting you all, hope to hang out sometime. You can come over anytime" I handed Freddie a key.

Queen looked at me oddly.

I chuckled, "When the Beatles moved here I gave them a key to my home. Come over anytime, you're welcome!"

I smiled and waved goodbye as I headed back home.

Strange British men, aren't they?
