I took a long puff from my cigar, "God, I hope Brian's okay.." I mumbled.

Freddie wrapped one arm around me, pulling me closer. "I'm sure he is, darling. We just need to give him time.."

I pushed Freddie away, getting up. "You knew he liked me, didn't you?" I said coldly.

Freddie chuckled, getting up, "Darling, come on. Let's not argue over t-"

"You knew, didn't you?!" I yelled, throwing my cigarette to the ground as I stomped on it.

Freddie sighed, "Yes, but I wanted you and I got you first." He said, trying to pull me in.

I slapped his hands away, "How could you do that to your close friend? What am I to you, a prize?!" I yelled.

"No! You're a human, a very beautiful human..." Freddie said sweetly, caressing my face.

A hot tear fell down from my eye, "Brian's so hurt, Freddie. A-And he's told me things" My voice wobbled.

"Like what?" Freddie looked confused.

"How you aren't ready to settle down.. How you'll just hurt me in the end" I stared at him.

Freddie shook his head, looking down then back at me, "I would never do that to you, darling.." He said sweetly.

I bit my lip, looking away as more tears escaped from my eyes. "Brian's known you long than you've known me.. How can I trust you? You don't want kids, how do I know you're ready to settle down?" I said.

Freddie said, letting go of me, "There you go again, Lily. Kids?! Are were really ready for that? For fuck's sake, I'm not! You love me, you've shared everything with me! You should be able to trust me by now!" Freddie begged.

I glared at him, "And you've shared nothing with me" I spat at him.

Freddie's eyes widened, "I-I"

"All we do is talk about me, and have sex. What am I to you, Freddie?" I raised my voice again.

Freddie took a hold of my hands, "You're more than just sex, darling" His eyes became glassy.

"You're the love of my life, I... You've taught me so much.." Freddie's voice cracked.

"Don't do this to me" Freddie whispered as he started crying.

I took a deep breath, "I want kids.."

"Then we'll have kids!" Freddie said, dragging his words.

I stared at him, as he looked at me sincerely. "You don't mean it" I let out a harsh laugh.

I lit another cigarette, taking a long breath of it. "Let's just forget about it, Freddie.. You party so, so much.. It's.. You aren't ready to settle, obviously. You're young!" I said.

"You're young too!" Freddie said.

I laughed, shaking my head as I looked at the ground, "No" I looked back at him.

"I'm almost 30, Freddie. I want to just get married and raise kids already, you're younger than me!" I pounded on my chest.

I sighed, taking another puff from my cigar, "I'm not breaking anything off, Freddie. But you need to work this fucking situation out with Brian, or else something else will be off" I said, as I walked out the bedroom door.

"Like what?!" Freddie called out.

I stopped, turning around, "You're band" I said, looking at him with disguise as I walked out the bedroom door.
