Chapter 13

Max's p.o.v

"Meeting Dismissed" Zeus announced. Well, I guess that's that! Either my dad doesn't want me or I'm the son of a minor god, like I don't know...

"WAIT!" Poseidon says looking straight at me. "Nice to see you son."

Wait

WHAT?

POSEIDON!? MY...FATHER??? OMG. Wow. Above me a sea green symbol of a trident floats above me. Poseidon's symbol.

"O-Okay" Theta says, amused. Everyone bows down except the warriors, who nod in appreciation. I just stand there like a goldfish with my mouth opening and closing.

 "Not very bright,eh?" Ares says. Poseidon glares at him then smiles at me warmly.

 "Um...thanks? Theta can we leave? I feel awkward" I say. Theta chuckles and nods. Annabeth stares at me which makes me feel...awkward. Piper nudges Annabeth and she looks at Piper and blushes. Piper looks confused. She looks at me then back at Annabeth. She widens her eyes by noticing the chemistry of us. I look away, my cheeks flushing. I notice a familiar blackish greenish portal. Theta gestures towards it for me to pass through. I look at him weirdly and enter the portal. I hear a SWISH and a SWOSH and all that stuff, then I see Camp Half-Blood. For once in my life I feel complete and needed. Behind me Annabeth comes out and gestures me to the forest. Curiously, I follow.

               We reach a nice relaxing beach. "I used to come here with my ex-boyfriend. I loved him till he disappeared. Everyone thinks he is dead, and he might be. You look soo much like him, Max. I am wondering if he chose to reborn from the dead and you are...well...him" Annabeth says sitting on the sand, staring at the beautiful night.

 I sit next to her and think about it.

 "Annabeth, these days, I cant help and think how different you are. And well, you ARE a goddess, so hypnotically speaking, if I like you, I still wont be enough for you." Annabeth looks at me with her gorgeous grey eyes which I could stare into all day. Her eyes fill with joy and...and love? I know I have met her for only a day, but I cant help but think how much I love her. Wow. I never thought I would ever say that, but when I say it. It just sounds right.

 "I love you Annabeth. I have met you for only a day, but you are a phenomenal person." Saying that, I crash my lips against hers. When her soft lips touch mine, I melt with joy. She takes it by shock for a couple of seconds but kisses me back. She runs her hands over my hair and I hold her waist trying to deepen the kiss by pushing her to me. The kiss feels like a dynamite blast a gazillion times. I tingle goes down my spine, and I groan in pleasure. She breaks our kiss slowly, but our foreheads are touching. She looks me straight in the eyes and says "I love you too Max."

Yeah-yeah...I know. I'm going all Disney and all. But if I have a feeling in my gut, I will go with it. I'm a gutsy person that way.

             

Theta/Percy's p.o.v

  When I am back in our cozy tent, in Camp Half Blood. I hear a voice say follow me.

I get up startled. I listen carefully again, and I hear nothing so I slowing go back into laying down. 

Follow my voice. Like charmspeak, I get up and do so. At the back of a camp, where the usual capture the flag happens, a girl sits there wearing a black jacket and silver jeans. I walk up to her.

 "Hello?" She turns around and smiles. I recognize her immediately. Artemis. She looks absolutely stunning in the moon light. 

"Hello Theta, why don't you join me?" I sit next to her, on the tree stump. 

"You say End is coming and you are the son of Chaos, but the only son of Chaos I knew was Percy Jackson. Are you related to him?" I shudder when she says my name. I really want to say the truth so I decide to do so. "Artemis, I am Percy." I say ripping my hood of. She stares at me, her eyes widen. "Y-You look so...different. Your more muscular and handsome. Your eyes look awesome. Your hair is messy in a cute way." I widen my eyes. Then I smirk "I know right!" I raise my hair like Usain Bolt style. "ughhhh...I said that out loud" she says sarcastically and annoyed, but chuckles.

           I stare at her, observing her carefully and she stares back. We hold hands and enjoy each others company. The thunder strikes and Artemis looks startled." That's my cue! Gotta go Percy. I hope to see you soon, handsome" she says flirtingly. Woah, okay the maiden goddess flirting with me? Pff I would do the same thing. She kisses my cheek and disappears. Electricity runs through my body. I touch my cheek looking starstruck. "THETA!! WHERE ARE YOU??" Zoe calls from a long way. "COMING!!" I reply. I run back, stop, look back then continue running....
