Just before you went to bed you were informed you should get to work by 11:55 so you have 5 minutes before your shift. You got into a dark elevator with a poster on your right and on your left. You jumped with surprise when an unknown robotic voice talked through a small speaker.
"Welcome you the first day of your exciting new career. Wether you were approached at a job fair,Read our add in 'Screws,Bolts,and Hairpins',Or if this is the result of a dare,we welcome you." It said. It's not fair to assume genders in 2018.
"I will be your personal guide to help you get started. I'm a model 5 of Handyman's robotics and unit repair system. But you can call me Hand Unit. Your new career promises challenge,intruge,and endless janitorial opportunities."
You pulled out your sticky eyeball and started messing with it. You still listened to Hand Unit,you just rolled a sticky eyeballs in your fingers.
"Please enter your name as seen above on the keypad." Hand Unit said.
A keypad slung from the wall and into your face. You jumped back a little and trying to type your name with the glitchy letters.
"Y/...N" You said out loud as you spelled it.
"It's seems you had a little trouble with the keypad and I will auto correct it for you. One moment." You waited a second before it started talking again.
"Welcome, Eggs Bendict."
Time Skip till' the end of the shift because I don't remember any of the other lines!
You go home,thinking your job would be easygoing,but you were thinking the complete opposite. Your B/S (Brother or Sister) messages you,telling you s/he needs a place to stay and the motel didn't have any more rooms so S/he said s/he was staying with you.
B/S/N : Hey Sis! I needed a place to stay and I tried to get a room at your motel but turns out they don't have any more rooms. Geez these people need to build more houses. Anyway,I told him I was staying with you and he let me in. Hope you don't mind since there are two beds in your room. 💕
